Christmas: The Truth Your Pastor Refuses to Tell You Concerning the Pagan (Nimrodic) Roots of Christmas(s)

Please ask your pastor about the Pagan (Nimrodic) roots of Christmas. Ask your (a) Christian pastor why he celebrates a holiday that honors the Babylonian trinity of Nimrod, Tammuz and Semiramis? Please ask your favorite Christian leader or organization why they celebrate a known Pagan holiday from the Babylonian trinity of Nimrod, Tammuz and Semiramis that is now called ‘Christmas.’ Thank you, you may be very glad you did. 🙂

Are Today’s Christian “Leaders” Really Just Con-Men and Con-Women For the Babylonian Trinity of Nimrod, Tammuz and Semiramis? You Decide

Are today’s Christian “leaders” really just con-men and con-women working for the Babylonian trinity of Nimrod, Tammuz and Semiramis? To answer this question, we must ask what the Christian leaders are doing to promote the Mystery Religion of Semiramis, Nimrod and Tammuz, and what is it that they are NOT revealing (suppressing the Truth) to their followers about this conning of others for mammon for this trinity. For this, all we do is have to provide historical evidence that the holidays of Christmas, Easter, St. Valentines Day, All Saints Day and Halloween all have their roots in the Babylonian Trinity, and that the Christian leaders are REFUSING to inform their followers of the Babylonian inspiration of these holidays for fear that they would get LESS MAMMON when they INVOKE these holidays (please notice the difference between so-called “Christian holidays” and “Jewish festivals”) when they ask for mammon.

And, it is the truth that I have already written an article concerning these holidays and their connection to the Babylonian trinity — and also true that I shared this information via many times a direct link to the article through electronic communication to many major Christian organizations and their leaders thereof — and even providing some with a phone call or two. I got almost ZERO follow-up, though their written words told me they were concerned about “every” person. These Christians leaders and their organizations were warned to the tune of over approximately 700 contacts with them, with the vast majority going to major — and a smaller amount going to minor — Christian organizations.

So, what DO you call someone who is WILLING to invoke Babylonian-inspired holidays for mammon, all the while SUPPRESSING THE Truth to their followers for fear that they would get LESS mammon? I would call them Truth Suppressors working as con-men and con-women for the Babylonian trinity of Tammuz, Semiramis and Nimrod.

I called the 700 Club, and I believe Pat Robertson was on a recording quoting FROM  this passage in the Scriptures at Yeshayahu 8: 13 (Isaiah)  :”YAHUAH of hosts, Him you shall set-apart. Let Him be your fear and let Him be your dread.” Now, let’s continue with that very Scripture; “And He shall be for a set-apart place, but a STONE OF STUMBLING and a rock that makes for FALLING to both the houses of Yisra’el, as a trap and a snare to the inhabitants of Yerushalayim. And many among them shall STUMBLE and FALL and be BROKEN and SNARED and TAKEN.” Bind up the witness and seal the Torah among My taught ones. And I shall wait on YAHUAH YHWH, who hides His face from the house of Ya’azob…Look, I and the children whom Yahuah has given me — for signs and wonders in Yisra’el from Yahuah of hosts, who dwells in Mount Tsiyon. And when they say to you, “Seek those who are mediums and wizards, who whisper and mutter, “should not a people seek their Elohim? Should they seek the dead on behalf of the living? To the Torah and to the witness! If they do not speak according to this Word, it is because they have no daybreak. And they shall pass through it hard pressed and hungry. And is shall be, when they are hungry, that they shall be wroth and curse their sovereign and their Elohim, looking upward. And they shall LOOK TO THE EARTH and see DISTRESS AND DARKNESS, GLOOM OF HARD TIMES and be DRIVEN INTO THICK DARKNESS.

Now let’s go to the very beginnings of that passage that Pat Robertson quoted; Yeshayahu 8:9 “Be shattered, O YOU PEOPLE’S and BE BROKEN IN PIECES! GIVE EAR, ALL YOU FROM THE FAR PLACES OF THE EARTH. Gird yourselves, but be broken into pieces. Take council, and it comes to ruin, speak a word and it does not stand, for El is with us.” For Yahuah spoke thus to me with a strong hand and instructed me that I should NOT WALK IN THE WAYS OF THIS PEOPLE, SAYING, “Do not say, ‘A conspiracy,’ concerning all that this people call a conspiracy, nor be afraid of their threats, not be troubled.”

And I say that these con-men and con-women Christian leaders ARE CONSPIRING to SUPPRESS the Truth about these Nimrodic holidays to their followers, spreading their falsehoods around the globe, all the while uplifting OTHER SOVEREIGNS that originally were somehow connected to the falsehoods that Semiramis started.

So, to be sure, when I was a Christian, I was spreading falsehoods to others about these holidays, but did not know I was doing so. But, when I inform a Christian or their organizations and their leaders thereof about the historical evidence that these holidays are from Babylon, they not only SUPPRESS THE Truth, but become Pathological Liars for the Trinity of Tammuz, Nimrod and Semiramis, wanting to hear no evil, see no evil and tell no evil about how these holidays are abomination to Yahuah according to Scripture.

So, now I will bring the historical facts concerning these holidays to light so that the truth can finally be told to everyone, and that hearing this it will either set people free, or condemn them as Truth Suppressors;

Here are the historical facts concerning the holidays of Christmas, Easter, All Saints Day, Halloween and St. Valentines Day:

  •  In Rome, feast of Sol Invictus (the Unconquerable Sun), or Mithra’s birthday, was celebrated on December 25.
  • In the 4th century A.D., Pope Julius officially made December 25 the day for Christians to celebrate the birth of the Jewish Messiah Yahusha Mashiach,  calling it the Feast of the Nativity, though birthdays were not celebrated by the followers of the Way of Yahusha Mashiach Messiah, and Messiah’s birthday was not only not celebrated, no record can be even be found noting His actual birth.
  • In the 8th century A.D., the Feast of the Nativity had gained popularity across most of the world, but replacing the hedonistic celebrations in name only. Most Puritans that came to America outlawed the holiday, and it wasn’t common to celebrate it until after the Civil War.
  •  “A broad element of English Christianity still considered Christmas celebration a pagan blasphemy. The Puritans, Baptists, Quakers, Presbyterians, Calvinists and other denominations brought this opposition to early New England and strong opposition to the holiday lasted in American until the middle of the 18th century.” — The Origins of Christmas, Rick Meisel, Dec. 19, 1993, p.4.
  • Semiramis’ son Tammuz was born at the winter solstice around December 25.  Tammuz became a sovereign in the eyes of the people.
  • The Christmas tree and the Yule log used today were first used to celebrate the birth of Tammuz, and became an annual religious festival in ancient pagan Babylon.  The celebration of the birthday of Tammuz was always a wild drunken orgy — a favorite festival among the Pagans.
  • Many Santa researchers agree that some traits of Santa were borrowed from Norse / Scandinavian Mythology. The Norse sovereign Oden or Woden is described as riding through the sky on an eight-legged white horse named Sleipnir.  Odin lived in Valhalla (the North) and had a long white beard.  Odin myth had him flying through the sky during the winter solstice (December 21-25), rewarding good children, while punishing naughty ones.
  • Santa can also be traced to the Norse sovereign Thor.  Thor was the sovereign of the peasants and the common people, and was represented as a heavy-build, jovial, elderly man, with a long white beard.  His element was the fire and his color red, and the fireplace in every home was set-apart to him, and mythology says that he would come down through the chimney into his element, the fire.  Thor drove in a chariot drawn by two white goats called Cracker and Gnasher, and he fought the giants of ice and snow so he became known as the Yule-sovereign.  He lived in the Northland, where he had his palace among icebergs.
  • The origins of many Christian customs comes from Babylonian sun-worship and  have been cleverly absorbed into the religion of Christianity.
  • The Nimrod Tree is now the ‘Christmas Tree, but originated in Babylon, along with the wreaths, branches and boughs that were used by the ancient pagans as emblems of Nimrod, because it was believed they were thought of as the re-birth of the sun.  Trees were decorated during the winter solstice.
  • In Babylonian Mythology, after Nimrod’s death, he became the sun-sovereign and was worshiped as Baal (Baal mean ‘Lord’), Marduk, Mithras, Ahura, Mazda, Gott, Aton, and Dagon.
  •  Pagans were absorbed into Christianity, and brought with them their Pagan religious festivals, and the truth was cleverly suppressed, while Christians continued to support these abominations.
  • Different forms under different names of the original son of the Sun-sovereign Tammuz of Babylon, which is the land from which sun worship originally spread, can all be traced back to Babylon and the birthday of Tammuz.
  • Nativity worship is actually about the sovereign Tammuz (also known as Nimrod), and was performed with carved idol images that were set up in chamber rooms (manger sets) and prayed to.  The figures in the modern nativity sets have been given names such as Mary, Joseph, the Three Wise Men, shepherds, etc., but these are  evolved and false, with the real person originally being worshiped being Tammuz.
  •  The Christmas wreath comes from the worship of Tammuz, and the wreaths were round and came from evergreen trees to symbolize the sun (just as  halos in most Christian art) — the eternal sun named Tammuz by the ancient Pagans.
  • The earliest known inhabitants of Mesopotamia were the Sumerians, whom the Scriptures refer to as the people of the “land of Shinar” (Gen 10:10). Nimrod united the people of Babylonia under his rule about 2300 B.C.
  •  The Scriptures speak much about the Babylonians all the way back from the time of Hammurapi (2000 BC) to the fall of Babylon (about 500 BC). Throughout the Old Covenant there are references to the Babylonians, their people, culture, religion and military power.
  • Consider the following quote from The Democrat and Chronicle, Rochester, New York, December 1984: “The Roman festival of Saturnalia, Dec. 17-24, moved citizens to decorate their homes with greens and lights and give gifts to children and the poor. The Dec. 25 festival of natalis solis invicti, the birth of the unconquered sun, was decreed by the emperor Aurelian in A.D. 274 as a Winter Solstice celebration, and sometime (later)…was Christianized as a date to celebrate the birth of the Son of Light.”
  • “The early Romans were not celebrating Christmas but rather a pagan feast called the Saturnalia. It occurred each year around the beginning of winter, or the winter solstice. This was the time when the sun had taken its lowest path across the sky and the days were beginning to lengthen, thus assuring another season of growth. — Dr. William Gutsch, chairman of the American Museum of Natural History
  • The Saturnalia celebrated Saturn—the fire sovereign who was said to also to be a sovereign of sowing (planting), since heat from the sun was necessary to allow for planting and growth of crops. He was worshipped so that he would come back (as he was supposed to be the “sun”) and warm the earth again so that spring planting could occur. Also, the planet Saturn was later named after him because of its rings and bright red color, best representing the sovereign of fire.
  • Virtually every civilization has/had a fire/sun sovereign, with the Egyptians calling him Vulcan, the Greeks calling him Kronos, as did the Phoenicians—but they also called him Saturn. The Babylonians called him Tammuz (as Tammuz was said to be Nimrod, resurrected in the person of his son), Molech or Baal, and all were the various names for NIMROD who was considered to be the father of all the Babylonian sovereigns.
  • “Now, this is in exact accordance with the character of the Great Head of the system of fire-worship. Nimrod, as the representative of the devouring fire to which human victims, and especially children, were offered in sacrifice, was regarded as the great child-devourer…he was, of course, the actual father of all the Babylonian gods; and, therefore, in that character he was afterwards universally regarded. As the Father of the gods, he was, as we have seen, called Kronos; and every one knows that the classical story of Kronos was just this, that, ‘he devoured his sons as soon as they were born.’ (Lempriere Classical Dictionary, ‘Saturn.’)…This legend has a further and deeper meaning; but, as applied to Nimrod, or ‘The Horned One,’ it just refers to the fact, that,as the representative of Moloch or Baal, infants were the most acceptable offerings at his altar. We have ample and melancholy evidence on this subject from the records of antiquity. ‘The Phoenicians,’ says Eusebius, ‘every year sacrificed their beloved and only-begotten children to Kronos or Saturn.’” — The Two Babylons, Alexander Hislop, page 231
  • Continuing: “…he who approached the fire would receive a light from divinity” and “through divine fire all the stains produced by generations could be purged away.” Therefore, “children were made to pass through the fire unto Molech” (Jer. 32:35).
  • “And it was a principle of the Mosaic law, a principle no doubt derived from the patriarchal faith, that the priest must partake of whatever was offered as a sin-offering (Numbers xviii. 9, 10). Hence, the priests of Nimrod or Baal were necessarily required to eat of the human sacrifices; and thus it has come to pass that ‘Cahna-Bal,’ the ‘Priest of Baal,’ is the established word in our own tongue for a devourer of human flesh.” — The Two Babylons, by Alexander Hislop, page 232
  • The Bibliotheca Sacra states, “The interchange of presents between friends is a like characteristic of Christmas and the Saturnalia, and must have been adopted by Christians from the pagans, as the admonition of Tertullian plainly shows” — Vol. 12, pp. 153-155
  •  “An old Babylonish fable told of an evergreen tree which sprang out of a dead tree stump. The old stump symbolized the dead Nimrod, the new evergreen tree symbolized that Nimrod had come to life again in Tammuz! Among the Druids the oak was sacred, among the Egyptians it was the palm, and in Rome it was the fir, which was decorated with red berries during the Saturnalia!” — Walsh, Curiosities of Popular Customs, p. 242.
  • Frederick J. Haskin’s Answers to Questions states; “The Christmas tree is from Egypt, and its origin dates from a period long anterior to the Christian Era.”
  • “European pagans brought holly sprays into their homes, offering them to the fairy people of the forests as refuges from the harsh winter weather. During the Saturnalia, the Roman winter festival, branches of holly were exchanged as tokens of friendship…”
  • The modern term for merging false pagan customs with the worship of Elohim is called syncretism.
  • “…all ranks devoted themselves to feasting and mirth, presents were exchanged among friends, and crowds thronged the streets, shouting ‘Lo Saturnalia.’ An offering was made beneath a decorated evergreen tree, according to the pagan poet, Virgil. Figurines and masks—called‘oscilla’—were hung on the tree, as are Christmas decorations today. History admits…there can be no doubt that we have in these ‘oscilla’ a relic of human sacrifice” — the Dictionary of Greek and Roman Antiquities, “Oscilla” 3rd edition, volume II
  • “For a time, coins and other monuments continued to link Christian doctrines with worship of the sun, to which Constantine had been addicted previously. But even when this phase came to an end, Roman paganism continued to exert other, permanent influences, great and small…The ecclesiastical calendar retains numerous remnants of pre-Christian festivals, notably Christmas, which blends elements including both the feast of the Saturnalia and the birthday of Mithra. But, most of all, the mainstream of Western Christianity owed ancient Rome the firm discipline that gave it stability and shape.” — Encyclopaedia Britannica, 15th edition, volume 10, pages 1062-3
  • “How much the date of the festival depended upon the pagan Brumalia (December 25) following the Saturnalia (Dec. 17-24), and celebrating the shortest day of the year and the ‘new sun’…cannot be accurately determined. The pagan Saturnalia and Brumalia were too deeply entrenched in popular custom to be set aside by Christian influence…The pagan festival with its riot and merry-making was so popular that Christians were glad of an excuse to continue its celebration with little change in spirit and in manner. Christian preachers of the West and the Near East protested against the unseemly frivolity with which Christ’s birthday was celebrated, while Christians of Mesopotamia accused their Western brethren of idolatry and sun worship for adopting as Christian this pagan festival.” — New Schaff-Herzog Encyclopedia of Religious Knowledge
  • “Christmas was not among the earliest festivals of the church…Certain Latins, as early as 354, may have transferred the birthday from January 6th to December 25, which was then a Mithraic feastor birthday of the unconquered SUN…The Syrians and Armenians, who clung to January 6th, accused the Romans of sun worship and idolatry, contending…that the feast of December 25th, had been invented by disciples of Cerinthus…” — The Encyclopaedia Britannica, 1946 edition
  • It can be said that the entirety of traditional Christianity is actually built around the worship of Nimrod/Saturn/Molech/Baal, with the modern mother/child “Mary/Jesus” push,  including actual worship of Mary, representing a parallel with Nimrod and his mother, Semiramis.
  • Christmas Tree – The set-apart tree of the winter-sovereign, of which the Druids believed the spirit of their sovereigns resided in the tree. Most ancient pagans knew the tree represented Nimrod reincarnated into Tammuz, and also looked upon the tree as a phallic symbol.
  • The star – Pentalpha, is the five-pointed star, and a powerful symbol of Satan, second only to the hexagram. The star is the set-apart symbol of Nimrod.
  • Candles (like the modern “Christmas lights”) represents the sun-sovereigns newly-born fire.
  • Mistletoe is the set-apart plant of the Druids, symbolizing pagan blessings of fertility, with the kissing under the mistletoe being the first step in the reproductive cycle. Also, Witches use the white berries in potions.
  • December 25 is known as the “nativity” of the sun, and is the birthday of Tammuz, the son of Semiramis, and Nimrod reincarnated. December 21 is known as Yule, and the Roman Catholic Church moved the celebration of Yule to December 25.
  • “It was on or about December 21st that the ancient Greeks celebrated what are known to us as the Bacchanalia or festivities in honor of Bacchus, the god of wine. In these festivities the people gave themselves up to songs, dances and other revels which frequently passed the limits of decency and order”.
  •  “Later, when this adulterous and idolatrous woman gave birth to an illegitimate son, she claimed that this son, Tammuz by name, was Nimrod reborn.” Easter/Ishatar “claimed that her son was supernaturally conceived [no human father] and that he was the promised seed, the ‘savior’” “However, not only was the child worshipped, but the woman, the MOTHER, was also worshipped as much (or more) than the son!”.
In the old fables of the Mystery cults, their ‘savior’ Tammuz, was worshipped with various rites at the Spring season. According to the legends, after he was slain [killed by a wild boar], he went into the underworld. But through the weeping of his mother… he mystically revived in the springing forth of the vegetation—in Spring! Each year a spring festival dramatically represented this supposed ‘resurrection’ from the underworld.”
  • Babel was the origin of an idolatrous system that was adopted by the world, with the Scriptures warning, . The Scriptures say of her, “Babylon…the nations drank her wine; Therefore the nations are deranged” (Jeremiah 51:7).
  • The ancient Greek historian Herodotus “witnessed the Mystery religion and its rites in numerous countries and mentions how Babylon was the primeval source from which ALL systems of idolatry flowed.” Austen Layard commented “that we have the united testimony of sacred and profane history that idolatry originated in the area of Babylonia—the most ancient of religious systems.”
  • As the people scattered from Babel with their different languages, they used different names for Nimrod, Tammuz and Semiramis. Some called the Mother sovereigness “ISHTAR” (originally pronounced “Easter”) In other lands, she was called Eostre, Astarte, Ostera, and Eastre. Other names for Semiramis are Wife of Baal, Ashtaroth or Ashtoreth, and Queen of Heaven, with the Mother sovereign frequently worshipped as the sovereigness of fertility, and called  Mother Nature and sovereigness of Spring, sexual love and birth.
  • The Easter bunny symbolizes the Mother sovereign, while annual Spring time fertility rituals are associated with the worship of the Mother Goddess and Tammuz, the reincarnation of her husband Nimrod.
  • The egg was a sacred symbol among the Babylonians. They believed an old fable about an egg of wondrous size which was supposed to have fallen from heaven into the Euphrates River. From this marvelous egg—according to the ancient story—the Goddess Astarte (Easter) [Semiramis], was hatched. And so the egg came to symbolize the Goddess Easter.”
  • “About 200 B.C. mystery cults began to appear in Rome just as they had earlier in Greece. Most notable was the Cybele cult centered on Vatican hill …Associated with the Cybele cult was that of her lover, Attis (the older Tammuz, Osiris, Dionysus, or Orpheus under a new name). He was a god of ever-reviving vegetation. Born of a virgin, he died and was reborn annually. The festival began as a day of blood on Black Friday and culminated after three days in a day of rejoicing over the resurrection.” — Gerald L. Berry, author of “Religions of the World
  • In 469, emperor Gelasius declared February 14th a set-apart day in honor of Valentinus, instead of the pagan sovereign Lupercus, which allowed Christianity to take over some of the celebrations of love and fertility, which had previously occurred in paganism settings.
  • “After the conversion of the Imperial city (Rome), the Christians still continued, in the month of February, the annual celebration of the Lupercalia; to which they ascribed a secret and mysterious influence on the genial powers of the animal and vegetable world. ” —  The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire by Edward Gibbons
  • The Greeks copied most of their mythology from the Romans, with Lupercus known as Pan, the sovereign of light. The Phoenicians worshipped the same sovereign as Baal, the sun-sovereign, and was one of many names or titles for Nimrod, who was a mighty hunter.
  • Cupid was the son of Venus, Roman sovereigness of beauty and love, and also known as Eros in ancient Greece, he was the son of Aphrodite. According to myth, he was responsible for impregnating numerous sovereignesses and human mortals. Cupid was a child-like archer ( Nimrod was a skilled archer), with mythology describing him as having both a cruel and happy personality. Using his invisible arrows tipped with gold to strike unsuspecting men and women, he caused them to fall deeply in love. But, he did not do this for their benefit, but instead to drive them crazy with intense passion, in order to make their lives miserable, and to then laugh at the results.
  • All Saints’ Day is followed by All-Souls’ Day, November 2, unless is a Sunday, which then it was November 3, another Catholic adaptation of pagan festivals for the dead. Prayers for the dead are an integral part of the traditional All Saint’s Day services on November 1, and on the next Sunday. Halloween gets its name from the Catholic holiday, it is a Hallowed evening, because it precedes All Hallows’ Day, thus: Hallow’en. Halloween is nothing more than a pagan holiday to honor the dead and evil spirits.

The Christians who continue to spread falsehoods about these pagan holidays claiming that Heaven supports them — all the while seeing no evil, hearing no evil and speaking no evil of these Nimrodic holidays — have thusly CHOOSEN to become Pathological Liars, of which Heaven does not condone.

The U.S. Role in the Holocaust of the Jews; What Did She Know, When Did She Know it, Its Role W/ the MS St Louis, Its History of Antisemitism and Its Future With Barack Hussein Obama in the Lead

Let’s make sure we can understand history correctly: Martin Luther said many horrible things about Jews, which Hitler used against the Jews. And with the help of the Catholic Church, and the silence – or even open hostility – of most so-called “Christians” in the entire world, the world allowed Hitler and his allies to almost annihilate an entire race on a continent, thereby causing the rise of World War Two with an estimated up to 72 MILLION killed, 61 million on the Allies side, 11 million on the Axis side.

And also let their be absolutely, unequivocally and unmistakably no ambiguity around the perfect FACT that Yahuah sent His Son as a Jew to save the Jews FIRST, then sent Saul, who Yahusha renamed Paul, to give the Good News (Besorah) of redemption through the shed blood sacrifice of a perfect human being killed on a tree to become a curse, then rising from the dead after three days, And after being seen by men for many days, he ascended to heaven in a cloud to receive His esteem and sat down at the Right Hand of the Father to be eventually sent down one day to annihilate the anti-Messiah’s army of 200,000,000 and set up His Kingdom for 1,000 years, while Satan is locked away. Peace and justice shall reign supreme on Earth, like Messiah said.

Now we can get into the exact language YHWH used in connection with the promise he made to Abraham, whom Elohim renamed Israel, as it pertains to the blessings and curses of the Gentiles (all who are not Hebrew are Gentiles) by YHWH.

Genesis 12: 1 And YHWH said to Abram, “Go yourself out of your land, from your relatives and from your father’s house, to a land which I show you. 2 “And I shall make you a great nation and bless you and make your name great and you shall be a blessing. 3 And I shall bless those who bless you and curse him who curses you. And in you all the clans of the earth shall be blessed.”

This was none other than the beginning of the First Covenant, since afterwards it was Abraham that was willing to sacrifice his only child Isaac, conceived from his wife Sarah, as YHWH had instructed him to do, but was stopped by YHWH before he could slay the boy, Elohim making a covenant with Abram and his offspring that would eventually create the state of Yisra’el (Israel). Eventually, the New Covenant  would bless the entire world through the redemptive power of Yahusha, the Hebrew Messiah, who would welcome Hebrews and repentant Gentiles to share in the kingdom and esteem to come.

The Scriptures prophesy about Israel at the end of the age, which has come to pass since 1948, after Hitler tried to exterminate the Jews. The Jews DO have a homeland promised to them by YHWH, of which no other nation can claim now, or in the past.

Now let’s move to accurate testimony about Gentile Believers in Yahusha Messiah, and what kind of role they play in YHWH’s promises to Israel and about Yerushalayim (Jerusalem).

Romans 11:1 “I say then, has Elohim rejected His people? Let it not be! For I also am a Yisraelite, of the seed of Abrahim, of the tribe of Binyamin. 2 Elohim has not rejected His people whom he knew beforehand. 11 I say then, have they stumbled that they should fall? Let it not Be! But by their fall deliverance has come to the gentiles, to provoke them to jealousy. 12 And if their fall is riches for the world and their failure riches for the gentiles, how much mor their completeness! 13 For I speak to you the gentiles, inasmuch as I am an emissary to the gentiles…” 16 Now if the first=fruit is set-apart, the lump is also. And if the root is set-apart, so are the branches. 17 And if some fo the branches were broken off and you, being a wild olive tree, have been grafted in among them and came to share the root and fatness of the olive tree, 18 do not boast against the branches. And if you boast, remember; you do not bear the root, but the root bears you!…20…By unbelief they were broken off and you stand be belief. Do not be arrogant, but fear. 21 For if Elohim did not spare the natural branches, He might not spare you either. 22 See the kindness and sharpness of Elohim; on those who fell sharpness, but toward you kindness, if you continue in His kindness, otherwise you also shall be cut off. 23 And they also, if they do not continue in unbelief, shall be grafted in, for Elohim is able to graft them in again. 24 For if you were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature and were grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree, how much more shall these who are the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree? 25 For I do not wish you to be ignorant of this secret, brothers, lest you should be wise in you own estimation, that hardening in part has come over Yisra’el, UNTIL THE COMPLETENESS OF THE GENTILES HAS COME IN. 26 And so ALL YISRA’EL SHALL BE SAVED, as it has been written, “The Deliverer shall come out of Tsiyon and He shall turn away wickedness from Ya’cob, and this is My covenant with them, when I take away their sins. Truly, as regards the Besorah they are enemies for your sake, but concerning the choice THEY ARE BELOVED FOR THE SAKE OF THE FATHERS. 29 For THE GIFTS AND THE CALLING OF Elohim are NOT TO BE REPENTED OF.”

So as we can see in the above scripture, Elohim has promised Israel their land and a Deliverer, and those who bless the Jews will be blessed and those who curse them will be cursed. Now we can retrace the events and attitudes of America before World War Two to see if America was blessed or cursed, or maybe cursed, then blessed.

  1. 1923-1924 — Hitler writes his autobiography, Mein Kampf, German for “My Struggle,” while in prison after the November 1923 failed “Beer Hall Putsch.” In it, Hitler explains his beliefs and plans for the future of the German nation. He describes the “Aryan” race, by eliminating all inferior and undesirable peoples, of which in particular he focuses on the “source of all evil” – the Jews.
  2. March 20, 1933 — Establishment of the first concentration camp in Nazi Germany, Dachau.
  3. April 7, 1933 — Nazis’ first anti-Semitic decree removes all Jews from the civil service.

  18. January 20, 1942 — The Nazis hold the Wannsee Conference during which they outline a plan to kill 11,000,000 Jews in Europe. Although the Western Allies do not know about this plan yet, reports of massacres were already reaching the United States. [See above — July, 1941 and October 11, 1941]
  19. January 30, 1942 — Hitler speaks at the Sports Palace in Berlin, and states: “The war will end with the complete annihilation of the Jews.”
  20. March 1, 1942 — Extermination begins at Sobibor.
  21. March 17, 1942 — Extermination begins at Belzec.
  22. March 20, 1942 — U.S. Intelligence [ie, the Secret Intelligence Branch of the Coordinator of Information — a predecessor to the OSS and CIA] receives a translated dispatch from the British. It is from Gonzalo Montt Rivas, the Chilean consul in Prague, Czechoslovakia, to his superiors in Santiago, Chile. In it, Rivas informs Santiago of a German decree revoking the citizenship and forfeiting the property of German Jews living outside Germany. Rivas also ominously states — “The German triumph (in the war) will leave Europe freed of Semites.”
  23. March 1942 — Jewish aid organization reports that eyewitness accounts indicate the Nazis have already massacred 240,000 Jews in the Ukraine alone.
  24. May 1942 — The Jewish Labor Bund in Poland compiles summary of verified massacres and transmits it to the Polish government-in-exile in London.
  25. June 1, 1942 — Treblinka opens.

  27. June 29, 1942 — At a press conference in London, the World Jewish Congress estimates that the Nazis have already killed over one million Jews.
  28. Early August, 1942 — News of Nazi plan to annihilate Jews of Europe reaches Gerhart Riegner, the World Jewish Congress representative in Switzerland. His source is German industrialist with access to top Nazi circles.
  29. August 8, 1942 — Gerhart Riegner informs U.S. consulate in Geneva about a Nazi plan to murder all the Jews of Europe.
  1. Until recently [July 2001], this was believed by most historians to be the date the United States first obtained “reliable” intelligence of mass exterminations of Jews by the Nazis. But, see March 20, 1942 for possible earlier date.
  • August 11, 1942 — U.S. Legation in Switzerland passes information received from Gerhart Riegner to U.S. State Department regarding Nazi plan to kill all European Jews. The U.S. State Department decides the information passed on by Riegner is nothing more than a “fantastic” war rumor, and do not pass the information on to American Jewish leaders.
  • August 21, 1942 — President Roosevelt warns Axis powers that the perpetrators of war crimes would be tried after their defeat and face “fearful retribution.”
  • August 28, 1942 — After receiving details of Gerhart Reigner’s report regarding the Nazi plan to annihilate European Jews, a British politician cables the information to American Rabbi Stephen Wise.
  • September 2, 1942 — Rabbi Stephen Wise contacts U.S. State Department about Nazi plan to kill all European Jews. Wise agrees to remain silent until the information is confirmed. This ‘confirmation’ takes nearly 3 months.
  • November 24, 1942 — U.S. State Department confirms the existence of Nazi extermination camps and the murder of two million Jews to date. Rabbi Stephen Wise holds press conference to announce that the Nazis were deporting Jews throughout German-occupied territory to Poland for mass slaughter. The news makes little impact as the next day’s New York Times reported this news on its tenth page. Throughout the rest of the war, the N.Y. Times and most other newspapers failed to give prominent and extensive coverage to the Holocaust.
  • December 8, 1942 — Jewish leaders meet with President Roosevelt and hand him a 20-page summary of the Holocaust.
  • December 17, 1942 — The Allies issue a statement condemning “in the strongest possible terms this bestial policy of cold-blooded extermination.”
  • January, 1943 — U.S. State Department receives information from Switzerland that discloses that 6,000 Jews a day are being killed at one location in Poland.
  • February 10, 1943 — U.S. State Department asks legation in Switzerland to discontinue sending reports about the mass murder of Jews to private persons in the U.S.
  • April 12, 1943 — The 12-day Bermuda Conference opens. The conference grew out of concerns in Britain about reports that the Nazis were slaughtering Europe’s Jews. The U.S. agreed to hold a closed-door conference with Britain to discuss the issue. But American delegates arrived with secret directives from the U.S. State Department to accomplish little. The delegates to the conference developed almost no concrete proposals. Perhaps because of this they decided to keep their report secret.
  • July, 1943 — Jan Karski, a courier for the Polish resistance, meets with FDR, giving him an eyewitness account of the Holocaust.
  • August, 1943 — A report received by Jewish leaders in the U.S. advises that the death toll of European Jews has reached four million.
  • September, 1943 — A bill is introduced to allow refugees who won’t endanger public safety to be allowed to enter the U.S. temporarily. The bill dies in office.

  • January 13, 1944 — “Report to the Secretary on the Acquiescence of This Government in the Murder of the Jews” is received by U.S. Secretary of the Treasury, Henry Morgenthau Jr. Earlier, U.S. Treasury Department officials, working on projects to provide aid to European Jews, discovered that their colleagues in the U.S. State Department were actually undermining rescue efforts. They brought their concerns to Morgenthau, who was Jewish and a long-time supporter of Roosevelt. Morgenthau directed the preparation of this report, presented it to FDR and requested that he establish a rescue agency.
  • January 22, 1944 — January 22, 1944, The president issued Executive Order 9417, creating the War Refugee Board [WRB]. Estimates indicate that the WRB may have saved as many as 200,000 Jews. One can only speculate how many more might have been saved had the WRB been established in August 1942, when Gerhart Riegner’s message reached the United States.

  • November 20, 1945 — The Nuremberg War Crimes Tribunal commences.
  • 1946 — After more than 200 days of proceedings, the Nuremberg War Crimes Tribunal concludes. Death sentences given to Goering, Ribbentrop, Streicher, Hans Frank and seven other Nazis.

As you can see by the information contained above, the United States of America saw, heard, and had ample evidence of what the Jews of Europe were facing, turned our back on the Jews from the MA St Louis – which later resulted in the death of many of them – and allowed antisemitism to flourish, which finally resulted in World War Two. Is Barack Obama going to bless Israel and the U.S., or harm Israel, and cause curses, including war, famine, death and disease, to ravish America?

Remember, it wasn’t until the Allies – including America – defeated Nazi Germany, that they saw the blessings of victory with the new weapons that caused Japan to surrender, ending the War, and bringing relative peace to the planet for the last 60+ years. But, there were moments of war, so where did America stand with Israel during these times?

First let’s take a look at numbers 3 and 4 to see that Jews in Germany were stripped of civil service, and then they lost their citizenship and were thoroughly discriminated against in 1933 and 1935, respectively. Then, we can see in Jan. of 1939  that Time Magazine named Hitler ‘Man of the Year’ and praised him. Then ,in 1939 the U.S. rejected Jews from the ship MA St Louis. September 1939 marks the beginning of World War Two with the invasion of Poland by Germany, and in July of 1941, America learned of massacres of Jewish civilians by Nazi’s in Europe. America enters the War via an attack by Japan on Dec. 7, 1941, but by this time, Hitler had indeed become very powerful.

As a matter of historical record, the United States, though timid, indifferent, cold – and even semi-hostile at times against Zionism – (which is the belief that Jews should live in the homeland Yahuah gave them thousands of years ago), has remained the strongest ally of Israel from the start of that nation until this day, though Barack Obama may change this soon…

In the United Nations, the U.S. didn’t even cast its first veto against U.N. messures against Israel until 1972, and that was on a Syrian-Lebanese complaint against Israel. In fact, from 1967-72, the U.S. supported or abstained on 24 resolutions, most critical of Israel. And from 1973-2000, the Security Council adopted about 90 resolutions on the Middle East, with most of them also critical of Israel. The U.S. vetoed a total of 33 resolutions, and thereby supported the Council’s criticism of Israel by its vote of support or by abstaining about two-thirds of the time. Since its inception, the UN has been generally hostile to Israel, with the U.S. often her sole defender. Israel returns the friendship by voting solidly with the US on virtually all issues.

The U.S. was first to recognize Israel, only minutes after it was officially created in 1948, which was consistent with a 1922 Congressional resolution backing the League of Nations mandate for a Jewish homeland in the Middle East. In the 6-Day 1967 War, the U.S. through its State Department, said it was “neutral in thought, word and deed” about the conflict, with Johnson imposing an arms embargo on the region. So, what happened in 1968 after a string of victories by the U.S. in Vietnam in 1967? The Tet Offensive, which changed with antisemitic Walter Cronkite reporting that the war was unwinnable, changing public support for the War effort into a huge negative, complete with the Weather Underground terrorist group declaring war on America, along with massive civil unrest and upheavals all across the country. The Philippines, which had given the U.S. a 99-year lease on designated military, naval, and air bases, was reduced to 25 years beginning 1967. Remember that Israel defeated a radical Arab, pro-Soviet offensive, which threatened to bring about the collapse of pro-American Arab regimes, disrupt oil supplies, and thus eventually severely undermining U.S. standard of living.

Remember also that the U.S. gained valuable military information from analysis of captured Soviet equipment, including SAM-2, SAM-12, Mig-21 aircraft, and Soviet T-54 battle tanks, with Israel giving a squadron of MiG-21s to the U.S. and which were then used for Air and Naval forces for training purposes.

Just as a side note, since 1967, Israel has transferred captured Soviet weapons systems to the U.S. Pentagon after every conflict: 1967, 1967-70, 1973, 1982, 1990 (Scud remnants from the Gulf War), and 2006 (remnants of Iranian supplied missiles). In 1982, Israel destroyed Soviet anti-aircraft batteries in Lebanon that were considered immune to American weapons, with Israel sharing the operation’s lessons to the U.S., estimated to be worth billions of dollars.

And General George Keegan, former head of U.S. Air Force Intelligence, publicly declared that “Israel is worth five CIA’s,” and further stated that between 1974 and 1990, Israel received $18.3 billion in U.S. military grants, but during the same period, Israel provided the U.S. with $50-80 billion in intelligence, research and development savings, and also, Soviet weapons systems that were captured and then transferred to the U.S.

Also, during the 1967-1970 1000 Day War of Attrition, the IDF, armed with American aircraft, successfully defeated a Soviet-supplied air defense system, revealing deficiencies in Soviet air-defense doctrine to US defense planners, and with Israel also sharing captured military equipment including P-2 radar and Soviet tanks.

The Yom Kippur War of 1973 saw the U.S. finally come to the rescue of Israel: “The President has agreed — and let me repeat this formally – that all your aircraft and tank losses will be replaced,” U.S. Secretary of State Henry Kissinger told the Israelis on Oct. 9, 1973. The U.S. decision allowed Israel to send hundreds of additional tanks and planes into battle that were being saved in case of future losses.

So, what happened in 1973? The Democratic Republic of Vietnam (North Vietnam), and the Provisional Revolutionary Government of South Vietnam (Viet Cong) sign a peace agreement in Paris, France, ending the longest U.S. war & military draft. Following President Richard Nixon’s visit to China, the U.S. and the People’s Republic of China agree to establish liaison offices, and U.S. – Sino relations begin to shift, as the U.S. would now use China as a semi-ally against the U.S.S.R., giving the U.S. a permanent (?) wedge against Moscow.

Also, Egypt and Israel sign a U.S.-sponsored cease-fire accord, which would allow Egypt to be a partner for peace, and which also would be used as a wedge against other more hostile Arab states, giving the U.S. another tactical advantage in U.S./U.S.S.R. relations. U.S. President Richard Nixon begins several talks with Soviet leader Leonid Brezhnev, paving the way for somewhat better relations with Moscow.

And in 1973, because the U.S. resupplied Israel, Israel defeated Soviet-trained and equipped Egyptian and Syrian forces and shared that captured Soviet equipment – including T-62 battle tanks – with the U.S. Israel had emerged as the only reliable ally where U.S. troops could land, equipment could be pre-positioned, and where the U.S. had friendly port facilities (in Haifa and Ashdod) in the entire Middle East region, saving the U.S. billions of dollars.

Finally, Israel, Egypt, Syria, Jordan, US & USSR meet in Geneva, with relative peace from this time in the Middle East until the Gulf War in 1991.

Although the U.S. was the first to recognize Israel, America denied her the right to defend herself somewhat by going along with other nations to deny them weapon sales through the embargo of the 1949 Tripartite Agreement on weapons, even though the US sold hundreds of millions of dollars in weaponry to Arab states during the 1950s and early 1960s. It wasn’t until 1962, when the U.S. agreed to sell to Israel its first significant American system, the HAWK anti-aircraft missile, that America started to back Israel in a big way, and America took off from the Cuban Missile Crisis to become an even greater nation that eventually stopped the Soviet Union from swallowing the world up into Communism.

As a direct result of the Yom Kippur War, the U.S. quadrupled its foreign aid to Israel, and the doctrine of maintaining Israel’s “qualitative edge” over its neighbors was begun, based both on U.S. gratitude of Israel’s defense of Western values in a generally hostile region, and with the backdrop of the Cold War, and the understanding that to oppose the hostile Arab client states of the U.S.S.R. was in the interests of both the U.S. and Israel.

The U.S. didn’t give financial aid to Israel until, you guessed it, the year of the start of the Korean War, where the U.S., though outnumbered, was able to stop the total takeover of the entire nation. This would have meant a very different world had this occurred. New Philippine constitution names Marcos president for life, keeping a strong U.S. as a long-term strategic partner against Soviet and Chinese desires in the region. The 1st U.S. POWs in N Vietnam released; 116 of 456 flown to the Philippines. Luna 21 launched to Moon, Pioneer 11 launched to Jupiter & Saturn and U.S. launches 1st Skylab crew to keep up with Soviet launches to moon and space of that year. The first portable cell phone call is made in New York City.

But why did Desert Storm occur in 1991? The U.S. only lost 148 souls in battle, prevented Iraq from destabilizing the region, and thereby preventing an eventual severe reduction of oil supplies to the U.S. that would have crippled the U.S. economy, and possibly brought the world to its financial knees.

And let us remember how much of a blessing the state of Israel has been to America – and those that love freedom in the world:

  1. In 1970, Israel caused the withdrawal of Syrian forces from Jordan, when the U.S. was in wars in Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia, thus preventing the fall of the pro-American regime and the installation of a pro-Soviet radical Palestinian terrorist regime.
  2. In 1981, Israel bombed the Iraqi nuclear reactor at Osirak, delaying Saddam Hussein’s quest for nuclear weapons, thus providing the U.S. with the option of engaging in conventional wars with Iraq in 1991 and 2003, instead of engaging in wars with nuclear weapons possibly involved, saving the world a nightmarish scenery of possibly globe-altering conditions.
  3. The vice president of General Dynamics, which produces the F16 fighter jets, stated that Israel is responsible for 600 improvements in the plane’s systems – modifications estimated to be worth billions of dollars – and spared the U.S. dozens of research and development years.
  4. During the Gulf War in 1991, Israel provided invaluable intelligence, an umbrella of air cover for military cargo, and even had personnel planted in the Iraqi desert to pick up downed American pilots.
  5. In 2005, Israel provided the U.S. with the world’s most extensive experience in homeland defense and warfare against suicide bombers and car bombs, with American soldiers training in IDF facilities.
  6. Israeli-made drones fly in Iraq, as well as in Afghanistan, providing  the U.S. with vital intelligence.
  7. In September 2007, the IAF destroyed a Syrian-North Korean nuclear plant, providing the U.S. with vital information on Russian air defense systems, which are also employed by Iran.
  8. In 2009, Israel shared with the U.S. its battle-tested experience in combating Palestinian and Hezbollah terrorism, with U.S. GI’s benefiting from Israel’s battle tactics against car bombs, improvised explosive devices, and homicide bombings.
  9. Israel shared with the U.S. the lessons of battle (during the Cold War Soviet military doctrine) and counter-terrorism (including aircraft security, homicide-suicide bombings) which reduced U.S. losses in Iraq and Afghanistan, prevented attacks on U.S. soil, upgraded U.S. weapons, and contributed to the U.S. economy. Without Israel, the U.S. could have been forced to deploy tens of thousands of U.S. troops in the eastern Mediterranean Basin, at a cost of billions of dollars per year.
  10. Israel’s utilization of  American arms gives U.S. military industries, such as Boeing and General Dynamics, a competitive edge compared to European industries. It also boosts U.S. military production, producing more American jobs, and improving U.S. national security. Japan and South Korea preferred the “Hawkeye” spy plane and the MD-500 chopper, both purchased and upgraded by Israel, over comparable British and French aircraft.
  11. Most of the $1.8 billion in annual U.S. military aid to Israel must be spent in the U.S., proving work for about 50,000 U.S. workers. Virtually all of the $1.2 billion in annual economic aid goes for repayment of debt to the U.S., incurred from military purchases dating back many years, which is now almost liquidated.
  12. Innovative Israeli technologies have given the U.S. a boost on U.S. civilian, including computer-related industries and agricultural industries, which view Israel as a valuable research and development friend.
  13. In contrast to U.S. commitments to Korea, Japan, Germany and other parts of the world, not a single U.S. military service person needs to be stationed in Israel, which is estimated to be about $200,000 per year. Assuming a minimum contingent of 25,000 troops, the cost savings to the U.S. would be about $5 billion a year.

Yeshayahu Chapters 6-35: For I Have Heard From The Master YHWH Of Hosts, A Destruction Decreed Upon All The Earth. Give Ear And Hear My Voice, Listen And Hear My Word.

6)1. In the year that sovereign Uzziyahu died, I saw YHWH sitting on a throne, high and lifted up and the train of His robe filled the Hekal.
2. Above it stood seraphim. Each one had six wings: with two he covered his face, with two he covered his feet and with two he flew.
3. And one cried to another and said, “Set-apart, set-apart, set-apart is YHWH of hosts; all the earth is filled with His esteem!”
4. And the posts of the door were shaken by the voice of him who cried out and the house was filled with smoke.
5. And I said, “Woe to me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips–for my eyes have seen the Sovereign, YHWH of hosts.”
6. And one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a live coal which he had taken with the tongs from the altar.
7. And he touched my mouth with it and said, “See, this has touched your lips; your crookedness is taken away and your sin is covered.”
8. And I heard the voice of YHWH, saying, “Whom do I send and who would go for Us?” And I said, “Here am I; Send me.”
9. And He said, “Go and you shall say to this people, ”Hearing you hear, but you do not understand; and seeing, you see, but do not know.’
10. “Make the heart of this people fat and their ears heavy and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their heart and shall turn and be healed.”
11. Then I said, “YHWH, until when?” And He answered, “Until the cities are laid waste and without inhabitant and the houses are without a man and the land is laid waste, a ruin. יא
12. “and YHWH has removed men far away and the forsaken places be many in the midst of the land.
13. “But still, there is a tenth part in it and it shall again be for a burning, like a terebinth tree and like an oak, whose stump remains when it is cut down. The set-apart seed is its stump!”
7)1. And it came to be in the days of Ahaz son of Yotham, son of Uzziyahu, sovereign of Yahudah, that Retsin sovereign of Aram and Peqah son of Remalyahu, sovereign of Yisra’el, went up to Yerushalayim to fight against it, but could not prevail against it. א.
2. And it was reported to the House of Dawid, saying, “Aram has set up camp in Ephrayim,” And his heart the heart of his people were moved as the trees of the forest are moved with the wind. ב.
3. And YHWH said to Yeshayahu, “Go out now to meet Ahaz, you and She’ar-Yashub your son, at the end of the channel of the upper pool, on the highway of the Launderer’s Field, ג.
4. “and say to him, ‘Take heed and be calm; do not fear or be faint-hearted for these two stubs of smoking fire brands, for the fierce displeasure of Retsin and Aram and the son of Remalyahu. ד.
5. “Because Aram, Ephrayim and the son of Remalyahu have plotted evil against you saying, ה.
6. “‘Let us go up against Yahudah and tear it apart and break it open for ourselves and set a sovereign over them, the son of Tabe’el.’ ו.
7. Thus said the Master YHWH, “It is not going to stand, nor shall it take place. ז.
8. “For the head of Aram is Damascus and the head of Damascus is Retsin. And within sixty-five years Ephrayim is to be broken as a people. ח.
9. “And the head of Ephrayim is Shomeron and the head of Shomeron is the son of Remalyahu. If you do not believe, you are not steadfast.”‘” ט.
10. And YHWH spoke again to Ahaz, saying, י.
11. “Ask a sign for yourself from YHWH your Elohim, make deep the request or make it high.” יא.
12. But Ahaz said,I do not ask nor try YHWH! יב.
13. And he said, “Hear now, O House of Dawid! Is it not enough that you weary men, that you weary my Elohim also? יג.
14. “Therefore YHWH Himself gives you a sign. Look, the maiden conceives and gives birth so a Son and shall call His Name Immanu’el. יד.
15. “He eats curds and honey when He knows to refuse evil and choose the good. טו.
16. “For before the Child knows to refuse evil and choose the good, the land that you dread is to be forsaken by both her sovereigns. טז.
17. “YHWH brings on you and your people and your father’s house days that have not come since the day that Ephrayim turned away from Yahudah–the sovereign of Ashshur.” יז.
18. And it shall be in that day YHWH whistles for the fly that is in the farthest part of the rivers of Mitsrayim and for the bee that is in the land of Ashshur. יח.
19. And they shall come and all of them shall rest in steep ravines and in the clefts of the rocks and on all weeds and in all pastures. יט.
20. In that day YHWH shall shave with a razor hired beyond the river–with the sovereign of Ashshur–the head and the hair of the legs and also remove the beard. כ.
21. And it shall be in that day that a man keeps alive a young cow and two sheep. כא.
22. And it shall be, that he shall eat curds because of the plenty milk he gets, for everyone left in the land shall eat curds. כב.
23. And it shall be in that day, every place where there were a thousand vines worth a thousand sheqels of silver, let it be for thornbushes and weeds. כג.
24. With arrows and bows one shall go there, because all the land shall be thornbushes and weeds. כד.
25. And to all the hills which were tiled with the hoe, you do not go for fear of thornbushes and weeds; but it shall be for sending oxen to and a place for sheep to roam.
8)1. And YHWH said to me, “Take a large tablet and write on it with a man’s pen concerning Maher-Shalal-HashBaz. א.
2. “And let Me take reliable witnesses to record, Uriyah the priest and Zekaryahu son of Yaberekyahu.” ב.
3. And I went to the prophetess and she conceived and bore a son. And YHWH said to me, “Call his name Maher-Shalal-HashBaz; ג.
4. for before the child knows to cry, ‘My father’ and ‘My mother,’ the riches of Damascus and the spoil of Shomeron is taken away before the sovereign of Ashshur.” ד.
5. And YHWH spoke to me again, ה.
6. “In as much as these people refused the waters of Shiloah that flow softly and rejoice in Retsin and in Remalyahu’s son; ו.
7. “now therefore, see, YHWH brings up over them the waters of the River, strong and mighty–the sovereign of Ashshur and all his esteem. And he shall come over all his channels and go over all his banks. ז.
8. “And it shall pass through Yahudah, he shall overflow and pass over, reaching up to the neck. And the stretching out of his wings shall fill the breadth of Your land, O Immanu’el. ח.
9. “Be shattered, O you peoples and be broken in pieces! Give ear, all you from the far places of the earth. Gird yourselves, but be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, but be broken in pieces. ט.
10. “Take counsel and it comes to ruin; speak a word and it does not stand, for El is with us.” י.
11. For YHWH spoke thus to me with a strong hand and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying, יא.
12.” Do not say, ‘A conspiracy,” concerning all that this people call a conspiracy, nor be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled. יב.
13. YHWH of hosts, Him you shall set-apart. Let Him be your fear and let Him be your dread. יג.
14. “And He shall be for a set-apart place, but a stone of stumbling and a rock that makes for falling to both the houses of Yisra’el, as a trap and a snare to the inhabitants of Yerushalayim. יד.
15. “And many among them shall stumble and fall and be broken and snared and taken.” טו.
16. Bind upon the witness and seal the Torah among my taught ones. טז.
17. And I shall wait on YHWH, who hides His face from the house of Ya’aqob. And I shall look for Him. יז.
18. Look, I and the children whom YHWH has given me–for signs and wonders in Yisra’el from YHWH of hosts, who dwells in Mount Tsiyon. יח.
19. And when they say to you, “Seek those who are mediums and wizards, who whisper and mutter,” should not a people seek their Elohim? Should they seek the dead on behalf of the living? יט.
20. To the Torah and to the witness! If they do not speak according to this Word, it is because they have no daybreak. כ.
21. And they shall pass through it hard pressed and hungry. And it shall be, when they are hungry, that they shall be wroth and curse their sovereign and their Elohim, looking upward. כא.
22. And they shall look to the earth and see distress and darkness, gloom of hard times and be driven into thick darkness. כב.
9)1. But there is no gloom upon her who is distressed, as when at first He humbled the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali and afterward more heavily oppressed her, by the way of the sea, beyond the Yarden, in Galil of the nations.
2. The people who were walking in darkness have seen a great light; upon those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death a light has shone. א.
3. You shall increase the nation; You shall make its joy great. They shall rejoice before You, as in the joy of harvest, as men rejoice when they divide the spoil. ב.
4. For You shall break the yoke of his burden and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, as in the day of Midyan. ג.
5. For every boot of one trampling in tumult and coat rolled in blood, shall be used for burning and fuel of fire. ד.
6. For a child shall be born unto us, a Son shall be given unto us and the rule is on His shoulder. And His Name is called Wonder, Counselor, Strong El, Father of Continuity, Prince of Peace. ה.
7. Of the increase of His rule and peace there is no end, upon the throne of Dawid and over His reign, to establish it and sustain it with right-ruling and with righteousness from now on, even forever. The ardour of YHWH of hosts does this. ו.
8. YHWH sent a word against Ya’aqob and it has fallen on Yisra’el. ז.
9. And the people shall know, all of them, Ephrayim and the inhabitant of Shomeron, who say in pride and greatness of heart; ח.
10. “The bricks have fallen down, but we rebuild with hewn stones; the sycamores are cut down, but we replace them with cedars.” ט.
11.  And YHWH set up the adversaries of Retsin against him and stirred up his enemies, י.
12. The Arameans before and the Philistines behind. And they devour Yisra’el with an open mouth. With all his His displeasure has not turned back and His hand is still stretched out. יא.
13. And the people have not turned back to Him who smites them nor have they sought YHWH of hosts. יב.
14. And YHWH cuts off head and tail from Yisra’el, palm branch and reed in one day. יג.
15. Elder and highly respected, he is the head; the prophet who teaches falsehood, he is the tail. יד.
16. For the leaders of this people lead them astray and those who are guided by them are swallowed up. טו.
17. Therefore YHWH does not rejoice over their young men and has no compassion on their fatherless and widows; for everyone is defiled and evil and every mouth speaks foolishness. With all this, His displeasure has not turned back and His hand is still stretched out. טז.
18. For wrongness burns las the fire, it consumes thornbushes and weeds and sets the bushes of the forest ablaze and they roll up like rising smoke. יז.

10)1. Woe to those making unrighteous laws and writers who have prescribed toil. א.
2. To keep the needy back from right-ruling and to take what is right from the poor of My people, that widows become their prey and orphans their plunder. ב.
3. What shall you do on the day of visitation and to the ruin which comes from afar? To whom would you run for help? And where would you leave your wealth? ג.
4. “Without Me they shall bow down among the prisoners and fall among the slain.” With all this His displeasure has not turned back and His hand is still stretched out. ד.
5. “Woe to Ashshur, the rod of My displeasure and the staff in whose hand is My displeasure. ה.
6. “Against a defiled nation I send him and against the people of My wrath I command him to seize the spoil, to take the prey and to tread them down like the mud of the streets. ו.
7. “But he does not intend so, nor does his heart think so, for it is in his heart to destroy, and cut off not a few nations. ז.
8.”For he says, “Are not my princes sovereigns? ח.
9. ‘Is not Kalno like Karkemish? Is not Hamath like Arpad? Is not Shomeron like Damascus? ט.
10. ‘As my hand has found the reigns of the idols, whose carved images excelled those of Yerushalayim and Shomeron, י.
11. ‘as I have done to Shomeron and her idols, do I not do also to Yerushalayim and her idols?’ יא.
12. “And it shall be, when YHWH has performed all His work on Mount Tsiyon and on Yerushalayim, that I shall punish the fruit of the greatness of the heart of the sovereign of Ashshur and the boasting of his haughty looks. יב.
13. “For he has said, ‘By the power of my hand and by my wisdom I have done it, for I have been clever. I remove the boundaries of the people and have robbed their treasuries. I put down the inhabitants like a strong one. יג.
14. ‘And my hand finds the riches of the people like a nest. And I have gathered all the earth like forsaken eggs are gathered. And there was no one who moved his wing nor opened his mouth with even a peep.'” יד.
15. Would the axe boast itself over him who chops with it, or the saw exalt itself over him who saws with it? As a rod waving those who lift it up! As a staff lifting up that which is not wood! טו.
16. Therefore the Master, YHWH of hosts, sends leanness among his fat ones. And under his esteem he kindles a burning like the burning of a fire. טז.
17. And the Light of Yisra’el shall be for a fire and his Set-apart One for a flame. And it shall burn and devour his weeds and his thornbushes in one day. יז.
18. and consume the esteem of his forest and of his fertile field, both life and flesh. And they shall be as when a sick man wastes away, יח.
19. and the remaining trees of his forest shall be so few in number that a child records them. יט.
20. And in that day it shall be that the remnant of Yisra’el and those who have escaped of the house of Ya’aqob, never again lean upon him who defeated them, but shall lean upon YHWH, the Set-apart One of Yisra’el, in truth. כ.
21. A remnant shall return, the remnant of Ya’aqob, to the Mighty El. כא.
22. For though your people, O Yisra’el, be as the sand of the sea, yet a remnant of them shall return–a decisive end, overflowing with righteousness. כב.
23. For the Master YHWH of hosts is making a complete end, as decided, in the midst of all the earth. כג.
24. Therefore thus said the Master YHWH of hosts, “My people, who dwell in Tsiyon, be not afraid of Ashshur, who beats you with a rod and lifts up his staff against you, in the way of Mitsrayim. כד.
25. “For yet a little while and the displeasure shall be completed and My displeasure be to their destruction.” כה.
26. And YHWH of hosts stirs up a lash for him as the smiting of Midyan at the rock of Oreb. And as His rod was on the sea. so shall He lift it up in the way of Mitsrayim. כו.
27. And in that day it shall be that his burden is removed from your shoulder and his yoke from your neck and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing oil. כז.
28. He has come upon Ayath, he has passed Migron. At Mikmash he stored his supplies. כח.
29. They have gone through the pass, they have taken up lodging at Geba. Romah is afraid, Gib’ah of Sha’ul has fled. כט.
30. Lift of your voice, O daughter of Galliym! Listen, Layishah–O poor Anathoth! ל.
31. Madmenah has fled, the inhabitants of Gebim sought refuge. לא.
32. Yet he remains at Nob that day, he shakes his fist at the mountain of the daughter of Tsiyon, the hill of Yerushalayim. לב.
33. Look, the Master, YHWH of hosts, is lopping off a branch with an awesome crash and the tall ones are cut down and the lofty ones are laid low. לג.
34. And He shall cut down the thickets of the forest with iron and Lebanon shall fall as a mighty one!
11)1. And a rod shall come forth from the stump of Yishai and a Sprout from his roots shall bear fruit. א.
2.The Spirit of YHWH shall rest upon Him–the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of YHWH, ב.
3. and shall make Him breath in the fear of YHWH. And He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes, nor decide by the hearing of His ears. ג.
4. But with righteousness He shall judge the poor and shall decide with straightness for the meek ones of the earth and shall smite the earth with the rod of His mouth and slay the wrong with the breath of His lips. ד.
5. And righteousness shall be the girdle of His loins and trustworthiness the girdle of His waist. ה.
6. And a wolf shall dwell with the lamb and a leopard lie down with the young goat and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together and a little child leads them. ו.
7. And a cow and a bear shall feed, their young ones lie down together and a lion eat straw like an ox. ז.
8. And the nursing child shall play by the cobra’s hole and the weaned child shall put his hand in the adder’s den. ח.
9. They do no evil nor destroy in all My set-apart mountain, for the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of YHWH as the waters cover the sea. ט.
10. And in that day there shall be a Root of Yishai, standing as a banner to the people. Unto Him the gentiles shall seek and His rest shall be esteem. י.
11. And it shall be in that day that YHWH sets His hand again a second time to recover the remnant of His people who are left, from Ashshur, from Mitsrayim, from Pathros, from Kush, from Eylam, from Shin’ar, from Hamath and from the islands of the sea. יא.
12. And He shall raise a banner for the nations and gather the outcasts of Yisra’el , and assemble the dispersed of Yahudah from the four corners of the earth. יב.
13. And the envy of Ephrayim shall turn aside and the adversaries of Yahudah be cut off. Ephrayim shall not envy Yahudah and Yahudah not trouble Ephrayim. יג.

15. And YHWH shall put under the ban the tongue of the Sea of Mitsrayim and He shall wave His hand over the River with the might of His Spirit and shall smite it in the seven streams and shall cause men to tread it in sandals. טו.
16. And there shall be a highway for the remnant of His people, those left from Ashshur, as it was for Yisra’el in the day when he came up from the land of Mitsrayim.
12)1. And in that day you shall say, “I thank You YHWH, though You were enraged with me, Your displeasure has turned back and You have comforted me. א.
2. “See, El is my deliverance, I trust and am not afraid. For Yah, YHWH, is my strength and my song and He has become my deliverance.” ב.
3. And you shall draw water with joy from the fountains of deliverance. ג.
4. And in that day you shall say, “Praise YHWH, call upon His Name; make known His deeds among the peoples, make mention that His Name is exalted. ד.
5. “Sing to YHWH, For He has done excellently; this is known in all the earth. ה.

3. In their streets they shall put on sackcloth; on the tops of their houses and in their streets everyone wails, weeping bitterly. ג.
4. And Heshbon and El’aleh cry out; their voice shall be heard as far a Yahats. Therefore the armed ones of Mo’ab shout; his being shall tremble within him. ד.

15. And there is no work for Mitsrayim, by either head or tail, palm branch or bulrush. טו.
16. In that day Mitsrayim shall become like women and tremble and fear because of the waving of the hand of YHWH of hosts which He waves over it. טז.
17. And the land of Yahudah shall be a fear to Mitsrayim, everyone who mention it fears for himself, because of the counsel of YHWH of hosts which He has counselled against it. יז.
18. In that day five cities in the land of Mitsrayim shall speak the language of Kena’an and swear by YHWH of hosts, one is called the City of destruction. יח.
19. In that day an alter to YHWH shall be in the midst of the land of Mitsrayim and a standing column to YHWH at its border. יט.
20. And it shall be for a sign and for a witness to YHWH of hosts in the land of Mitsrayim. When they cry to YHWH because of the oppressors. He sends them a Saviour and an Elohim and shall deliver them. כ.
21. And YHWH shall be known to Mitsrayim and the Mitsrites shall know YHWH in that day and make slaughtering and meal offering and shall make a vow to YHWH and pay it. כא.
22. And YHWH shall smite Mitsrayim, smite it and heal it. And they shall turn to YHWH  and He shall hear them and heal them. כב.
23. In that day there shall be a highway from Mitsrayim to Ashshur and Ashshur shall come into Mitsrayim and Mitsrayim into Ashshur and Mitsrayim shall serve with Ashshur. כג.
24. In that day Yisra’el shall be one of three with Mitsrayim and Ashshur, even a blessing in the midst of the earth, כד.
25. whom YHWH of hosts shall bless, saying, “Blessed is Mitsrayim My people and Ashshur the work of My hands and Yisra’el My inheritance.
20)1. In the year that Tartan came to Ashdod, when Sargon the sovereign of Ashshur sent him and he fought against Ashdod and took it, א.
2. at that same time YHWH spoke by means of Yeshayahu son of Amots, saying, “Go and remove the sackcloth from your body and take your sandals off your feet.” And he did so, walking naked and barefoot. ב.
3. And YHWH said, “As My servant Yeshayahu has walked naked and barefoot three years for a sign and a wonder against Mitsrayim and Kush, ג.
4. so does the sovereign of Ashshur lead away the captives of Mitsrayim and the exiles of Kush, young and old, naked and barefoot, with their buttocks uncovered–the shame if Mitsrayim. ד.
5. “And they shall be afraid and ashamed of Kush, their expectation and of Mitsrayim, their boast. ה.
6. “And the inhabitants of this coastland shall say in that day, ‘See, such is our expectation, wherever we flee for help to be delivered from the sovereign of Ashshur. And how do we escape?'”
21)1. The message concerning the Wilderness of the Sea. As whirlwinds in the South sweep on, so it comes from the wilderness, from an awesome land. א.
2. A distressing vision is revealed to me: the treacherous betrays and the ravager ravages. Go up, O Eylam! Besiege, O Media! All the groaning I bring to an end. ב.
3. Therefore my loins are filled with anguish; pangs have seized me, like the pangs of a woman in labour. I was distressed when I heard it; I was troubled when I saw it. ג.
4. My heart reeled, horror overwhelmed me; the night for which I longed He turned into fear for me. ד.
5. Prepare the table, spread the mat, eat and drink. Arise, you princes, anoint the shield! ה.
6.For YHWH has said this to me, “Go, set a watchman, let him declare what he sees.” ו.
7. And he saw a chariot with a pair of horsemen, a chariot of donkeys and a chariot of camels and he listened attentively, very attentively. ז.
8. Then he cried, “A lion, O YHWH! I stand continually on the watchtower in the daytime and I have sat at my post every night. ח.
9. “And see this, a chariot of men coming with a pair of horsemen!” And he spoke up and said, “Babel is fallen, is fallen! And all the carved images of her mighty ones He has broken to the ground.” ט.
10. Oh, my threshing and the grain of my floor! That which I have heard from YHWH of hosts, the Elohim of Yisra’el, I have declared to you. י.
11. The message concerning Dumah. He calls to me out of Se’ir, “Watchman, how much of the night is passed? Watchman, how much of the night has passed?” יא.
12. The watchman said, “Morning came and also the night. If you inquire, inquire. Come again!” יב.
13. The message concerning Arabia. In the forest in Arabia you stay, O you traveling companies of Dedannites. יג.
14. You who dwell in the land of Tema, bring water to him who is thirsty, meet the fugitive with bread. יד.
15. For they fled from the swords, from the drawn sword, from the bent bow and from the stress of battle. טו.
16. For thus YHWH has said to me, “Within a year, according to the year of a fired man, all the esteem of Qedar shall come to an end. טז.
17. “And the rest of the number of the archers, the mighty men of the people of Qedar, shall be few. For YHWH Elohim of Yisra’el has spoken.”
22)1. The message concerning the Valley of Vision. What troubles you now, that you have all gone up to the house-tops, א.
2. you who are filled with turmoils, a noisy city, a city of revelry? Your slain are not slain with the sword, nor the dead in battle. ב.
3. All your rulers have fled together; without a bow they were taken captive. All who are found in you are bound together, who have fled from afar. ג.
4. Therefore I said, “Look away from me, let me weep bitterly. Do not try to comfort me because of the ravaging of the daughter of my people.” ד.
5. For it is a day of uproar and treading down and perplexity by the Master YHWH of hosts in the Valley of Vision–breaking down of a wall and of crying to the mountain. ה.
6. And Eylam bore the quiver with chariots of men and horsemen and Qir bared the shield. ו.
7. And it shall be that your choicest valleys shall be filled with chariots and the horsemen shall take up positions at the gate. ז.
8. Then He removed the covering of Yahudah. And you looked in that day to the weapons of the House of the Forest. ח.
9. And you saw the breaches of the city of Dawid, that it was great. And you gathered together the waters of the lower pool. ט.
10. And you counted the houses of Yerushalayim and the houses you broke down to strengthen the wall. י.
11. And you dug a ditch between the two walls for the water of the old pool. But you have not looked to its Maker, nor have you seen Him who fashioned it long ago. יא.
12. And in that day the Master YHWH of hosts called for weeping and for mourning, for baldness and for girding with sackcloth. יב.
13. Then see! Joy and gladness, slaying oxen and killing sheep, eating meat and drinking wine, “Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die!” יג.
14.And it was revealed in my hearing by YHWH of hosts, “For this crookedness shall certainly not be pardoned until you die,” said the Master YHWH of hosts. יד.
15. Thus said the Master YHWH of hosts, “Go, come to this steward, to Shebnah, who is over the house and say, טו.
16. ‘What have you here and whom have you here, that you have hewn a tomb here, as he who hews himself a tomb on high, cutting out a resting place for himself in a rock? טז.
17. ‘See, YHWH is hurling you away, O man and is firmly grasping you, יז.
18. rolling you up tightly like a ball, into a wide land. There you are to die and there your esteemed chariots are to be the shame of your master’s house. יח.
19. ‘And I shall drive you from your office and you shall be ousted from your position. יט.
20. ‘And it shall be in that day, that I shall call My servant Elyaqim son of Hilqiyahu. כ.
21. ‘And I shall put your robe on him and strengthen him with your girdle and give your authority into his hand. And he shall be a father to the inhabitants of Yerushalayim and to the house of Yahudah. כא.
22. ‘And I shall place the key of the house of Dawid on his shoulder. And he shall open and no one shuts; and shall shut and no one opens. כב.
23. ‘And I shall fasten him like a peg in a steadfast place and he shall become a throne of esteem to his father’s house. כג.
24. ‘And they shall hang on him all the weight of his father’s house, the offspring and the offshoots, all vessels of small quantity, from the cups to all the jars. כד.
25. ‘In that day,’ declares YHWH of hosts, ‘the peg that is fastened in the steadfast place shall be removed and be cut down and fall and the burden that was on it shall be cut off. For YHWH has spoken.'”
23)1. The message concerning Tsor. Howl, you ships of Tarshish! For it has been destroyed, without house, without harbour. From the land of Kittim it has been revealed to them. א.
2. Be silent, you inhabitants of the coastland, you merchants of Tsidon, who passed over the sea, they filled you. ב.
3.  And on great waters the grain of Shihor, the harvest of the River, was her increase. And she was a market-place for the nations. ג.
4. Be ashamed, O Tsidon, for the sea has spoken, the stronghold of the sea, saying, “I have not laboured, nor brought forth children; neither have I reared young men, brought up maidens.” ד.
5. Like the report of Mitsrayim, they too are grieved at the report of Tsor. ה.
6. Pass over to Tarshish; wail, you inhabitants of the coastland! ו.
7. Is this your city of revelry, whose antiquity is from days of old, whose feet carried her far off to sojourn? ז.
8. Who has counselled this against Tsor, the crowning city, whose merchants are chiefs, whose traders are the esteemed of the earth? ח.
9.YHWH of hosts has counselled it, to defile the pride of all splendour and to shame all the esteemed of the earth.10. Overflow through your land like the River, O daughter of Tarshish; there is no more strength. ט.
11. He has stretched out His hand over the sea, He shook the reigns; YHWH has given a command against Kena’an to destroy its strongholds. י.
12. And He said, “Never again shall you exult, O you oppressed maiden daughter of Tsidon. Arise, pass over to Kittim, even there you shall find no rest.” יא.
13. See the land of the Chaldeans–this people did not exist. Ashshur founded it for wild beasts of the desert. They set up their siege-towers, they demolished her palaces and made her a ruin. יב.
14. Howl, you ships of Tarshish, for your stronghold is laid waste! יג.
יד.
15. And it that day it shall be that Tsor is forgotten seventy years, according to the days of one sovereign. At the end of seventy years it shall be to Tsor as in the song of the whore: טו.
16. “Take a lyre, go about the city, you forgotten whore; make sweet playing, sing many songs, so that you might be remembered. טז.
17. And at the end of seventy years it shall be that YHWH visits Tsor. And she shall return to her hire and commit whoring with all the reigns of the earth on the face of the soil. יז.
18. And her goods and her hire shall be set-apart for YHWH, not treasured nor laid up, for her gain is for those who dwell before YHWH, to eat sufficiently and for a choice covering.
24)1. See YHWH is making the earth empty and making it waste and shall overturn its surface and shall scatter abroad its inhabitants. א.
2. And it shall be–as with the people so with the priest, as with the servant so with the master. as with female servant so with her mistress, as with the buyer so with the seller, as with the lender so with the borrower, as with the creditor so with the debtor; ב.
3. the earth is completely emptied and utterly plundered, for YHWH has spoken this word. ג.
4.  The earth shall mourn and wither, the world shall languish and wither, the haughty people of the earth shall languish. ד.
5. For the earth has been defiled under its inhabitants, because they have transgressed the Torot, changed the law, broken the everlasting covenant. ה.
6. Therefore a curse shall consume the earth and those who dwell in it be punished. Therefore the inhabitants of the earth shall be burned and few men shall be left. ו.
7. The new wine shall fail, the vine shall languish, all those glad at heart shall sigh. ז.
8. The joy of the tambourine shall cease, the noise of those who rejoice shall end, the joy of the lyre shall cease. ח.
9. No more do they drink wine with a song, strong drink is bitter to those who drink it. ט.
10. The deserted city shall be broken down, every house shall be shut, no one enters. י.
11.There is a crying for wine in the streets; all joy shall be darkened, the gladness of the earth shall be gone. יא.
12. The city is left to ruins and the gate is stricken with destruction. יב.
13. For thus it is to be in the midst of the earth among the peoples, like the shaking of an olive tree, like the gleaning grapes when the grape harvest is done. יג.
14. They lift up their voice, they sing of the excellency of YHWH, they shall cry aloud from the sea. יד.
15. Therefore praise YHWH in the east, the Name of YHWH Elohim of Yisra’el in the coastlands of the sea. טו.
16. From the ends of the earth we shall hear songs, “Splendour to the righteous One!” But I say, “I waste away, I waste away! Woe to me! The treacherous betray, with treachery the treacherous betray.” טז.
17. Fear and the pit and the snare are upon you, O inhabitant or the earth. יז.
18. And it shall be that he who flees from the noise of the fear falls into the pit and he who comes up from the midst of the pit is caught in the snare. For the windows from on high shall be opened and the foundations of the earth be shaken. יח.
19. The earth shall be utterly broken, the earth shall be completely shattered, the earth shall be fiercely shaken. יט.
20. The earth shall stagger like a drunkard. And it shall totter like a hut and its transgression shall be heavy upon it and it shall fall and not rise again. כ.
21. And in that day shall be that YHWH punishes on high the host of exalted ones and on the earth the sovereigns of the earth. כא.
22. And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit and shall be shut up in the prison and be punished after many days. כב.
23. And the moon shall blush and the sun shall be ashamed, for YHWH of hosts shall reign on Mount Tsiyon and in Yerushalayim, and before His elders, in esteem!
25)1. O YHWH You are my Elohim. I exalt You, I praise Your Name, for You shall do a wonder–counsels of long ago, trustworthiness, truth. א.
2. For You shall make a city a heap, a walled city a ruin, a palace of foreigners to be a city no more–never to be rebuilt. ב.
3. Therefore a strong people praise You, the city of the ruthless nations fear You. ג.
4. For You shall be a refuge to the poor, a refuge to the needy in his distress, a shelter from the storm, a shade from the heat. For the spirit of the ruthless is like a storm against a wall. ד.
5. You subdue the noise of foreigners, as heat in a dry place; as heat in the shadow of a cloud, the singing of the ruthless is subdued. ה.
6. And in this mountain YHWH of hosts shall make for all people a feast of choice pieces, a feast of old wines, of choice pieces with marrow, of old wines, well refined. ו.
7. And He shall swallow up on this mountain the surface of the covering which covers all people and the veil which is spread over all nations. ז.
8. He shall swallow up death forever and the Master YHWH shall wipe away tears from all faces and take away the reproach of His people from all the earth. For YHWH has spoken. ח.
9. And it shall be said in that day, “See, this is our Elohim. We have waited for Him and He saves us. This is YHWH, we have waited for Him, let us be glad and rejoice in His deliverance.” ט.
10. For the hand of YHWH rests on this mountain and Mo’ab is trodden down under Him, as straw is trodden down in the water of a dunghill. י.
11. And He shall spread out His hands in their midst as he who swims spreads out his hands to swim and He shall bring down their pride together, with the skill of His hands. יא.
12. And the high stronghold of your walls He shall bring down, lay it low, levelled to the ground, down to the dust.
26)1. In that day this song is sung in the land of Yahudah, “We have a strong city–He sets up deliverance, walls and ramparts. א.
2. “Open the gates, let the righteous nation which guards the truth enter in. ב.
3. “The one steadfast of mind You guard in perfect peace, for he trusts in You. ג.
4. “Trust in YHWH forever, for in Yah, YHWH, is a rock of ages. ד.
5. “For He shall bring down those who dwell on high. He lays the exalted city low, He lays it low to the earth, He brings it down to the dust. ה.
6. “A foot tramples it down–feet of the poor, footsteps of the needy.” ו.
7. The path of the righteous is uprightness; O upright One, You weigh the course of the righteous. ז.
8. Also, in the path of Your right-rulings, O YHWH, we have waited for You; the longing of our being is for Your Name and for the remembrance of You. ח.
9. My being longs for You in the night, also, my spirit within me seeks You earnestly. For when Your right-rulings are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world shall learn righteousness. ט.
10.The wrong finds favour, yet he shall not learn righteousness; in the land of straight-forwardness he acts perversely and does not see the excellency of YHWH. י.
11. O YHWH, Your hand is high, they do not see. They see the ardour of the people and are ashamed; also, let the fire for Your adversaries consume them. יא.
12. O YHWH, You establish peace for us, for You have also done all our works in us. יב.
13. O YHWH our Elohim, other masters beside You have had rule over us; only in You do we make mention of Your Name. יג.
14. The dead do not live; the departed spirits do not rise. Therefore You have visited and destroyed them and made all their remembrance to perish. יד.
15. You shall increase the nation, O YHWH, You shall increase the nation; You are esteemed; You shall expand all the borders of the land. טו.
16.O YHWH, in distress they shall  visit You, they shall pour out a prayer when Your disciplining is upon them. טז.
17. As a woman with child and about to give birth writhes and cries out in her pain, so shall we be before Your face, O YHWH. יז.
18. We have conceived, we writhed in pain; we have given birth to wind. We have not accomplished deliverance in the earth, nor have the inhabitants of the world fallen. יח.
19. Let your dread  live, together with my dead body, let them arise. Awake and sing, you who dwell in dust, for Your dew is a dew of light and let the earth give birth to the departed spirits. יט.
20. Go, my people, enter your rooms and shut your doors behind you; hide yourself, as it were, for a little while, until the displeasure is past. כ.
21. For look, YHWH is coming out of His place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their crookedness. And the earth shall disclose her blood and no longer cover her slain.
27)1. In that day YHWH with His severe sword, great and strong, punishes Liwiathan the fleeing serpent. Liwiathan that twisted serpent. And He shall slay the monster that is in the sea. א.
2. In that day sing to her, “A vineyard of red wine! ב.
3. “I, YHWH, do guard it, I water it every moment; lest any hurt it, I guard it night and day. ג.
4.”Wrath is not in Me. Who would set thornbushes and weeds against  Me in battle? I would go through them, I would burn them together. ד.
5. “Or let him take hold of My strength and make peace with Me. Let him make peace with Me!” ה.
6. Those who come He causes to take root in Ya’aqob. Yisra’el shall blossom and bud. And they shall fill the face of the world with fruit. ו.
7. Has He smitten him as He smote those who were smitting him? Or were they slain as those they had slaughtered? ז.
8. In measure, by sending her away, You contended with her. He shall take away by His rough wind in the day of the east wind. ח.
9. Therefore by this the crookedness of Ya’aqob is covered. And this is all the fruit of taking away his sin: when he makes all the stones of the altar like chalkstones that are beaten to dust–Asherim and sunpillars rise no more. ט.
10. For the city of defense is lonely, a home forsaken and left like a wilderness–there the calf feeds and there it lies down and shall consume its branches. י.
11. When its twigs are dry, they are broken off, women come and set them on fire. For it is a people of no understanding, therefore He who made them has no compassion on them and He who formed them shows them no favour. יא.
12. And in that day it shall be that YHWH threshes, from the channel of the River to the wadi of Mitsrayim and you shall be gathered one by one, O children of Yisra’el. יב.
13. And in that day it shall be that a great horn is blown and those who were perishing in the land of Ashshur and the outcasts in the land of Mitsrayim shall come and shall worship YHWH on the set-apart mountain, in Yerushalayim.
28)1. Woe to the proud crown of the drunkards of Ephrayim and to the fading flower of its splendid comeliness that is on the head of the fertile valley, to those who are overcome with wine! א.
2. See, YHWH has one who is mighty and strong, like a downpour of hail and a destroying storm, like a flood of mighty waters overflowing, who casts down to the earth with the hand. ב.
3. The proud crown of the drunkards of Ephrayim, is trampled under foot; ג.
4. and the fading flower of its splendid comeliness that is on the head of the fertile valley, like the first fruit before the summer, which, when one sees it, he eats it up while it is still in his hand. ד.
5. In that day YHWH of hosts is for a crown of splendour and a head-dress of comeliness to the remnant of His people, ה.
6. and a spirit of right-ruling to him who sits in right-ruling and strength to those who turn back the battle at the gate. ו.
7. And these too have gone astray through wine and through strong drink wandered about. Priest and prophet have gone astray through strong drink, they are swallowed up by wine, they wander about through strong drink, they go astray in vision, they stumble in right-ruling. ז.
8. For all tables shall be will be covered with vomit, no place without filth. ח.
9. Whom would He teach knowledge? And whom would He make to understand the message? Those weaned from milk, those taken from the breasts! ט.
10. For is: command upon command, command upon command, line upon line, line upon line, here a little, there a little. י.
11. For with a jabbering lip and a foreign tongue He speaks to this people, יא.
12. To whom He said, “This is the rest, give rest to the weary,” and, “This is the refreshing.” But they would not  hear. יב.
13. But the Word of YHWH was to them, “Command upon command, command upon command, line upon line, line upon line, here a little, there a little,” so that they go and shall stumble backward and be broken and snared and taken captive. יג.
14. Therefore hear the Word of YHWH, you men of scorn, who rule this people who are in Yerushalayim, יד.
15. because you have said, “We have made a covenant with death and with the grave we have effected a vision. When the overflowing scourge passes through, it does not come to us, for we have made lying our refuge and under falsehood we have hidden ourselves.” טו.
16. Therefore thus said the Master YHWH, “See, I am laying in Tsiyon a stone for a foundation, a tried stone, a precious corner-stone, a settled foundation. He who trusts shall not hasten away. טז.
17. “And I shall make right-ruling the measuring line and righteousness the plummet. And the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lying and the waters overflow the hiding place. יז.
18. “And your covenant with death shall be annulled and your vision with the grave not stand. When an overflowing scourge passes through, then you shall be trampled down by it. יח.
19. “As often as it passes through it shall take you, for is shall pass through every morning and by day and by night. And it shall be only trembling to understand the message.” יט.
20. For the bed shall be too short for a man to stretch out on and the covering shall be too narrow to wrap himself in it. כ.
21. For YHWH rises up as at Mount Peratsim and He is wroth as at the Valley of Geb’on, to do His work, His strange work and to do His deed, His strange deed. כא.
22. And now, do not be scoffers, lest your bonds be made strong. For I have heard from the Master YHWH of hosts, a destruction decreed upon all the earth.   כב.
23. Give ear and hear my voice, listen and hear my Word. כג.
24. Does the ploughman keep ploughing all day to sow? Does he keep turning his soil and breaking the clods? כד.
25. When he has leveled its surface, does he not sow the caraway and scatter the cummin, plant the wheat in rows, the barley in the appointed place and the spelt in its place? כה.
26. For He instructs him for right-ruling, his Elohim teaches him. כו.
27. For caraway is not threshed with a threshing sledge, nor is a wagon wheel rolled over cummin, but caraway is beaten out with a stick and cummin with a rod. כז.
28. Grain is crushed, so one does not go on threshing it forever, nor break it with his wagon wheel, nor crush it with his horsemen. כח.
29. Even this has come from YHWH of hosts, who did wonders in counsel, who made wisdom great.
29)1. Woe to Ari’el, to Ari’el, the city where Dawid dwelt! Add year to year, let festivals come around. א.
2. “And I shall distress Ari’el and there shall be mourning and sorrow and it shall be to Me as Ari’el. ב.
3. “And I shall encamp against you all around, I shall lay siege against you with a mound and I shall raise siegeworks against you. ג.
4. “And you shall be brought low and speak out of the ground and your speech shall be low, out of the dust. And your voice shall be like a medium’s, out of the ground and your speech whisper out of the dust. ד.
5. “But the crowd of those strange to you shall be like fine dust and the crowd of the ruthless ones as chaff blowing away. And it shall be in an instant, suddenly!” ה.
6. You shall be visited by YHWH of hosts with thunder and earthquake and great noise, with whirlwind and storm and flame of devouring fire. ו.
7. Then the crowd of all the gentiles who fight against Ari’el, even all who fight against her and her stronghold and distress her, shall be as a dream of a night vision. ז.
8. And it shall be as when a hungry man dreams and see, he eats; but he awakes and his being is empty; or as when a thirsty man dreams and see, he drinks; but he awakes and see, he is faint and his being is longing. Thus shall the crowd of all the gentiles be who fight against Mount Tsiyon. ח.
9. Pause and wonder! blind yourselves and be blind! They are drunk, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with strong drink. ט.
10. For YHWH has poured out on you the spirit of deep sleep and has closed your eyes, the prophets. And He covered your heads, the seers. י.
11. And the entire vision is to you like the words of a book that is sealed, which men give to one who knows books, saying, “Read this, please.” And he said, “I am unable, for it is sealed. יא.
12. And the book is given to one does not know books, saying, “Read this, please.” And he said, “I have not known books.” יב.
13. And YHWH says, “Because this people has drawn near with its mouth and with its lips they have esteemed Me and it has kept its heart far from Me and their fear of Me has become a command of men that is taught! יג.
14. “Therefore, see, I am again doing a marvellous work among this people, a marvellous work and a wonder. And the wisdom of their wise men shall perish and the understanding of their clever men shall be hidden.” יד.
15. Woe to those who seek deep to hide their counsel far from YHWH and their works are in the dark: they say, “Who sees us?” and “Who knows us?” טו.
16. How perverse of you! Should the potter be reckoned as the clay? Should what is made say of its Maker, “He did not make me?” And what is formed say of Him who formed it, “He did not understand?” טז.
17. Is it not yet a little while and Lebanon shall be turned into garden land and garden land be reckoned as a forest? יז.
18. And in that day the deaf shall hear the words of the book and the eyes of the blind shall see out of gloom and out of darkness. יח.
19. And the meek ones shall increase their joy in YHWH and the poor  among men rejoice in the Set-apart One of Yisra’el. יט.
20. For the ruthless one is brought to naught, the scorner is consumed and all who watch for evil shall be cut off, כ.
21. those who make a man to sin in word and lay a snare for him who reproves in the gate and turn aside the righteous with empty reasoning. כא.
22. Therefore thus says YHWH, who ransomed Abrahim, concerning the house of Ya’aqob, “Ya’aqob is no longer put to shame, no longer does his face grow pale. כב.
23. “For when he sees his children, the work of My hands, in his midst, they shall set-apart My Name and set-apart the set-apart One of Ya’aqob and fear the Elohim of Yisra’el. כג.
24. “And those who went astray in spirit shall come to understanding and the grumblers accept instruction.”
30)1. “Woe to the stubborn children,” declares YHWH, “to make counsel, but not from Me and to devise plans, but not of My Spirit, in order to add sin to sin; א.
2. who are setting out to go down to Mitsrayim and have not asked My mouth, to be strengthened in the strength of Pharoah and to seek refuge in the shadow of Mitsrayim! ב.
3. “And the strength of Pharaoh shall become your shame and the refuge in the shadow of Mitsrayim your confusion. ג.
4. “For his princes were at Tso’an and his messengers came to Hanes. ד.
5. “They were all ashamed of a people who do not profit them, not for help or profit, but a shame and also a reproach.” ה.
6. The message concerning the beasts of the South. Through a land of trouble and distress, from which came the lioness and lion, the adder and fiery flying serpent, they convey their riches on the backs of young donkeys and their treasures on the humps of camels, to an unprofitable people, ו.
7. even Mitsrayim, whose help is vain and empty. Therefore I have called her RahabHem-Shebeth. ז.
8. And go, write it before them on a tablet and inscribe it on a scroll, that it is for a latter day, a witness forever: ח.
9. that this is a rebellious people, lying children, children who refuse to hear the Torah of YHWH, ט.
10. Who said to the seers, “Do not see,” and to the prophets,Do not prophesy to us what is right. Speak to us what is smooth, prophesy deceits. י.
11. Turn aside from the way, swerve from the path, cause the Set-apart One of Yisra’el to cease from before us.” יא.
12. Therefore thus said the Set-apart One of Yisra’el, “Because you despise this word and trust in oppression and perverseness and rely on them, יב.
13. therefore this crookedness is to you like a breach ready to fall, a bulge in a high wall, whose breaking comes suddenly, swiftly.” יג.
14. And He shall break it like the breaking of the potter’s vessel, which is broken in pieces, without sparing, so that there is not found among its fragments a sherd to take fire from the hearth, or to take water from the cistern. יד.
15. For thus said the Master YHWH, the set-apart One of Yisra’el, “In returning and rest you are saved, in stillness and trust is your strength.” But you would not, טו.
16. and you said, “No, for we flee upon horses,” therefore you flee! And, “We ride on swift horses, ” Therefore those who pursue you are swift! טז.
17. One thousand flee at the rebuke of one; at the rebuke of five you shall flee until you are left as a pole on top of a mountain and as a sign on a hill. יז.
18. And therefore YHWH shall wait, to show you favour. And therefore He shall be exalted, to have compassion on you. For YHWH is an Elohim of right-ruling. Blessed are all those who wait for Him. יח.
19. For the people shall dwell in Tsiyon at Yerushalayim, you shall weep no more. He shall show much favour to you at the sound of your cry; when He hears, He shall answer you. יט.
20. Though YHWH gave you bread of adversity and water of affliction, your Teacher shall no longer be hidden. But your eyes shall see your Teacher, כ.
21. and your ears hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the Way, walk in it.” whenever you turn to the right, or whenever you turn to the left. כא.
22. And you shall defile the covering of your graven images of silver and plating of your moulded images of gold. You shall throw them away as a menstrual cloth and say to them, “Be gone!” כב.
23. And He shall give the rain for your seed with which you sow the ground and bread of the increase of the earth. And it shall be fat and rich, your cattle grazing in an enlarged pasture in that day, כג.
24. and the oxen and the young donkeys that work the ground eat seasoned fodder winnowed with shovel and fan. כד.
25. And on every high mountain and on every high hill there shall be rivers and streams of waters, in the day of great slaughter, when the towers fall. כה.
26.And the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun and the light of the sun be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that YHWH binds up the breach of His people and heals the wound of His blows. כו.
27. See, the Name of YHWH is coming from afar, burning with His wrath and heavy smoke. His lips shall be filled with rage and His tongue be as a devouring fire; כז.
28. and His breath shall be as an overflowing stream, which reaches up to the neck, to sift the nations with a sieve of falsehood and a misleading bridle on the jaws of the peoples. כח.
29. Let the song be to you as in a night set-apart for a festival and gladness of heart as he who is going with a flute, to come into the mountain of YHWH, to the Rock of Yisra’el. כט.
30. And YHWH shall cause His excellent voice to be heard and show the coming down of His arm, with raging wrath and the flame of a consuming fire, with scattering, downpour and hailstones. ל.
31. For through the voice of YHWH Ashshur is broken down, with a rod He smites. לא.
32. And every passage of the ordained staff which YHWH lays on him, shall be with tambourines and lyres, when He shall fight with it, battling with a brandishing arm. לב.
33. For Topheth was ordained of old, even for the sovereign it has been prepared. He has made it deep and large, its fire pit with much wood; the breath of YHWH, as a stream of burning sulphur, is burning in it!
31)1. Woe to those who go down to Mitsrayim for help and rely on horses, who trust in chariots because they are many and in horsemen because they are very strong, but who do not look to the Set-apart One of Yisra’el, nor seek YHWH! א.
2. And He also is wise and has brought evil and has not turned aside His words. And He shall rise up against the house of evil-doers and against the help of workers of wickedness. ב.
3. And the Mitsrites are men and not El. And their horses are flesh and not spirit. And when YHWH stretches out His hand, both he who helps shall stumble and he who is helped shall fall. And they shall allfall, together. ג.
4. For this is what YHWH has said to me, “As a lion roars and a young lion over his prey, though a band of shepherds is called out against him, he is not afraid of their voice nor disturbed by their noise, so YHWH of hosts shall come down to fight upon Mount Tsiyon and upon its hill. ד.
5. Like hovering birds, so does YHWH of hosts protect Yerushalayim–protecting and delivering, passing over and rescuing.” ה.
6. Turn back to Him from whom the children of Yisra’el have deeply fallen away. ו.
7. For in that day, let each man reject his idols of silver and his idols of gold, which your own hands have made for yourselves, as a sin. ז.
8. “And Ashshur shall fall by a sword not of man and a sword not of mankind shall devour him. But he shall flee from the sword and his young men shall become slave labour, ח.
9. and his strength pass away because of fear and his commanders shall be afraid of the banner,” declares YHWH, whose light is in Tsiyon and whose furnace is in Yerushalayim.
32)1. See, a sovereign shall reign in righteousness and rulers rule in right-ruling. א.
2. And each one shall be as a hiding place from the wind and a shelter from the downpour, as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land. ב.
3. And the eyes of those who see are not dim and the ears of those who hear listen. ג.
4. And the heart of the rash understand knowledge and the tongue of the stammerers hurries to speak plainly. ד.
5. A fool is no longer called noble, nor the scoundrel said to be respectable; ה.
6. For a fool speaks folly and his heart works wickedness: to practise filthiness and to speak against YHWH that which misleads, to starve the being of the hungry and to withhold the drink from the thirsty. ו.
7. And the methods  of the scoundrel are evil–he has devised wicked plans to destroy the poor with words of falsehood, even when the needy pleads for right-ruling. ז.
8. But the generous one devises what is generous and by generous deeds he rises up. ח.
9. Rise up, you women who are at ease, hear my voice; rise up you complacent daughters, listen to my speech. ט.
10. In little more than a year you shall be troubled, you complacent women; for the grape harvest shall fail, the ingathering shall not come. י.
11. Tremble, you women who are at ease; be troubled, you complacent ones; strip yourselves, make yourself bare and gird sackcloth on your waists. יא.
12. Lament upon the breasts for the pleasant fields, for the fruit-bearing vine. יב.
13. Weeds and thornbushes come up over the ground of My people, indeed, over all the houses of joy, the city of revelry; יג.
14. for the palace is abandoned, the crowded city deserted. Hill and watchtower serve as caves forever, a joy of wild donkeys, a pasture of flocks; יד.
15. until the Spirit is poured upon us from on high and the wilderness shall become garden-land and the garden land be reckoned as a forest. טו.
16. Then the right-ruling shall dwell in the wilderness and righteousness remain in the garden-land. טז.
17. The work of righteousness shallbe peace and the service of righteousness be rest and safety forever.18. And My people shall dwell in a home of peace and in safe dwellings and in undisturbed resting places,19. even when hail shall fall, felling the forest and the city be brought low in humiliation.20. Blessed are you who sow beside all waters, who send out the foot of the ox and the donkey.
33)1. Woe to you ravager, while you have not been ravaged and you treacherous, while they have not betrayed you! When you have ceased ravaging, you shall be ravaged. And when you stop betraying, they shall betray you. א.
2. O YHWH, show us favour, for we have waited for You. Be their arm every morning, our deliverance also in time of distress. ב.
3. At the noise of the rumbling the people shall flee. When You lift Yourself up, the gentiles shall be scattered. ג.
4. And Your plunder shall be gathered like the gathering of the caterpillar; as locusts rush about, they rush upon them. ד.
5. YHWH is exalted, for He dwells on high; He has filled Tsiyon with right-ruling and righteousness. ה.
6. And He shall be the trustworthiness of your times, a wealth of deliverance, wisdom and knowledge. The fear of YHWHthat is His treasure. ו.
7. See, the brave ones shall cry outside, the messengers of peace weep bitterly. ז.
8. The highways shall be deserted, the wayfaring man shall have ceased. He has broken the covenant, he has despised the cities, he respected no man. ח.
9. The earth shall mourn and languish. Lebanon shall be ashamed. Sharon shall be withered like a desert and Bashan and Karmel be shaking. ט.
10. “Now I rise up,” declares YHWH. “Now I am exalted, now I am lifted up. י.
11. “You conceive chaff, you bring forth stubble, your spirit devours you like fire. יא.
12. “And peoples shall be like the burnings of lime, like thorns cut up they are burned in the fire. יב.
13. “You who are afar off, hear what I shall do; and you who are near, know My might.” יג.
14. Sinners in Tsiyon shall be afraid; trembling shall grip the defiled ones, “Who of us shall dwell with the devouring fire? Who of us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?” יד.
15. He who walks righteously and speaks what is straight, he who rejects the gain of oppressions, who keeps his hands from accepting bribes, who stops his ears from hearing of bloodshed and shuts his eyes from seeing evil טו.
16. he shall inhabit the heights; strongholds of rocks be his refuge. His bread shall be given him, his water be steadfast. טז.
17. Your eyes shall see the Sovereign in His comeliness, see a land that is far off. יז.
18. Your heart ponders fear, “Where is the scribe? Where is he who weights? Where is he who counts the towers?” יח.
19. No longer shall you see a fierce people, a people of too deep a lip to hear, of a jabbering tongue no one understands. יט.
20. See Tsiyon, the city of our appointed time; your eyes shall see Yerushalayim, an undisturbed home, a tent not taken down. Its stakes are never removed, nor any of its cords broken. כ.
21. But there, great is YHWH for us; a place of broad rivers, streams, in which no boat with oars sails, nor big ships pass by– כא.
22. for YHWH is our Judge, YHWH is our Lawgiver, YHWH is our Sovereign, He saves us כב.
23. your ropes shall be slack, they do not strengthen their mast, they shall not spread the sail. Then the prey of great plunder shall be divided, the lame shall take the prey. כג.
24. Neither shall the inhabitant say, “I am sick.” The people who dwell in it is forgiven their crookedness!
34)1. Come near you gentiles, to hear. And listen, you people! Let the earth hear and all that is in it, the world and all its offspring. א.
2. For the displeasure of YHWH is against all the gentiles, and His wrath against all their divisions. He shall put them under the ban, He shall give them over to the slaughter, ב.
3. and their slain be thrown out and their stench rise from their corpses. And mountains shall be melted with their blood. ג.
4. And all the host of the heavens shall rot away. And the heavens shall be rolled up like a scroll and all their host fade like a leaf fading on the vine and like the fading one of a fig tree. ד.
5. “For My sword shall be drenched in the heavens. Look, it comes down on Edom and on the people of My curse, for judgment. ה.
6. “The sword of YHWH shall be filled with blood, it shall be made overflowing with fatness and with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams. For YHWH has a slaughtering in Botsrah and a great slaughter in the land of Edom. ו.
7. “And wild oxen shall come down with them and young bulls with bulls. And their land shall be drenched with blood and their dust made fat with fatness.” ז.
8. For it is the day of the vengeance of YHWH, the year of recompense for the cause of Tsiyon. ח.
9. And its streams shall be turned into tar and its dust into sulphur and its land shall become burning tar, ט.
10. that is not quenched night or day, its smoke going up forever. From generation to generation it lies waste, no one passes through it forever and ever, י.
11. so that the pelican and the porcupine possess it, also the owl and the raven dwell in it. And He shall stretch out over it the line of formlessness and stones of emptiness. יא.
12. Its caves, with no one in them, is called a reign, but all its rulers have vanished. יב.
13. And thorns shall come up in its palaces, nettles and brambles in its strongholds. And it shall be a home for jackals, a courtyard for ostriches. יג.
14. And the wild beasts of the desert shall also meet with the jackals and the shaggy goat call to its companion. The night creature shall also settle there and shall find for herself a place of rest. יד.
15. The arrow snake shall nest there and lay eggs and hatch and gather them under her shadow. There too the vultures shall gather, each with its mate. טו.
16. Search from the book of YHWH and read: not one of these shall be missing, not one shall be without a mate, for He has commanded my mouth. And His Spirit shall gather them. טז.
17. And He shall cast the lot for them and His hand shall divide it among them with a measuring line–they posses it forever, from generation to generation they dwell in it.
35)1. Let the wilderness and the dry place be glad for them and let the desert rejoice and blossom as the rose. א.
2. It blossoms much and rejoices, even with joy and singing. The esteem of Lebanon shall be given to it, the excellence of Karmel and Sharon. They shall see the esteem of YHWH, the excellency of our Elohim. ב.
3. Strengthen the weak hands and make firm the week knees. ג.
4. Say to those with anxious heart, “Be strong, do not fear! See, your Elohim comes with vengeance, with the recompense of Elohim. He is coming to save you.” ד.
5. Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened and the ears of the deaf be opened. ה.
6. Then the lame shall leap like a deer and the tongue of the dumb sing, because waters shall burst forth in the wilderness and streams in the desert. ו.
7. And the parched ground shall become a pool and the thirsty land springs of water–in the home for jackals, where each lay, grass with reeds and rushes. ז.
8. And there shall be a highway and a way and it shall be called “The Way of Set-apartness.” The unclean does not pass over it, but it is for those who walk the way and no fools wander on it. ח.
9. No lion is there, nor any ravenous beast go up on it, it is not found there. But the redeemed shall walk there. ט.
10. And the ransomed of YHWH shallreturn and enter Tsiyon with singing, with everlasting joy on their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

The “Trinity” Is A False Doctrine, Elohim Consists of the Father and the Son; The “Set-Apart Spirit of Elohim” Is Not A “Person,” But is the “Ruach Ha Kodesh” OF Elohim

Did you know that not only is the concept of the “Trinity” not taught in the scriptures and wasn’t taught by 1st century Assembly leaders, and not only was it an invention due to the impetus of Constantine, but that many “Trinities” existed in Pagan religions for centuries before this concept was adopted in 325 at the First Council of Nicaea? This was the beginning of the end of separation of religion and state, where the Catholic Church began persecuting those that would not adhere to their false doctrines, thus heralding in the age of the false Assemblywhich began to perpetually persecute, torture and murder those who chose to obey the commandments of Messiah, rather than succumb to the commandments of men.

An early concept of Who Elohim is was called Arianism, after a man named Arius, who taught a non-trinitarian theology that the Heavenly Father and the Son did not exist together eternally. This belief discounts the plain teaching in the gospel of John which states the following: 1. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with YHWH, and the Word was YHWH. The same was in the beginning with YHWH. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made… He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not…And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us..”

The above Scripture, along with many others, define Yahusha as being the only begotten Son of the Father sent as the Messiah to the earth to save men from paying for their sins, and Whom existed eternally with Yahuah from the beginning.

Another early teaching was called Semi-Arianism, which taught “the truly orthodox view of the Son, that he was forever with the Father,” but were considered to be blasphemers of the third person of the Trinitarian sovereign, since they did not count the Ruach Ha Kodesh (or Set-Apart Spirit) OF Elohim “in the Godhead with the Father and the Son.” These are also referred to as “binitarians,” or can be referred to as the belief in “binitarianism.”

Binitarianism is different from the “Oneness” doctrine, which asserts that the Father, Son and Ruach Ha Kodesh of Elohim are all the same “Person.” This teaching is acutely insufficient to describe Elohim, since, for instance, how could Yahusha pray to Himself in the Garden of Gethsemane? This false doctrine also violates the following scriptures:

  • Gen. 1:1, 26 – The plural word for “Elohim” is used regarding creation, indicating that Elohim is composed of separate individuals.
  • Col. 1:16-19; Heb. 1:2 – Yahusha was active in creation as a separate individual.
  • Jn. 1:1  – Uses the Greek definite article, to differentiate between two divine individuals in this verse.
  • Jn. 14:23 – Yahusha uses the plural pronoun “we,” which proves He is a separate individual from the Father.
  • 1 Cor. 11:3 – Messiah is the head of man, and Yahuah is the head of Messiah, proving that Messiah and the Father are separate individuals.
  • 2 Jn. 1:9 – John uses the word “both” to show that the Father and Son are separate individuals.
  • 1 Tim. 2:5 – Yahusha is portrayed as the mediator between man and Yahuah the Father, proving that Messiah is a separate individual from the Father.
  • Rom. 8:34 – Yahusha is portrayed as seated at the right hand of Yahuah, interceding for believers, proving that He is a separate individual from the Father.
  • 1 Jn. 2:1 – Yahusha is portrayed as our Advocate in heaven, pleading our case before Yahuah, proving that He is a separate individual from the Father.
  • 1 Cor. 15:23-24 – Yahusha will hand over the kingdom to the Father at the end, proving He is a separate individual from the Father.
  • Phil. 2:10-11 – Yahusha will be exalted for eternity in heaven, and bring glory to the Father, showing that He is a separate individual from the Father.
  • Heb. 12:2 – Yahusha is in heaven, sitting at the right hand of the throne of Yahusha, proving He is a separate individual from the Father.
  • Heb. 13:8 – Yahusha is portrayed as the same for all eternity, proving that He is always a separate individual from the Father.
  • Rev. 22:1, 3 – Yahuah the Father and the Lamb (Yahusha) are two separate individuals whom people will worship in heaven.

So, if there are two Persons included in Elohim (bitheism), where did the third one come from? It seems that since the Scriptures do not teach nor mention a Trinity. And since there isn’t any writings by early Assembly fathers or laity concerning this concept, it essentially was started by a man named Tertullian, who lived in North Africa and died around 220 AD.

The earliest Fathers, (within two generations of the Apostles of Messiah) are usually called the Apostolic Fathers and include Clement of Rome, Ignatius of Antioch and Polycarp of Smyrna, and do not speak of the Ruach Ha Kodesh as a Person. In addition, the Didache, or “Teaching of the Twelve Disciples,” and a strange allegory called the “Shepherd of Hermas,” do not teach of a Trinity. Athenagoras of Athens (133-190AD) wrote that the Ruach Ha Kodesh was an “effluence of God, flowing forth and returning to God like a ray of the sun.”

It wasn’t until 325AD, when Constantine (a pagan syncretist and Roman catholic emperor) convened the Council of Nicaea in order to develop a statement of faith that could unify the Roman Catholic Church, that the doctrine of the Trinity became popularized, declaring that the Father and the Son are of the same substance (homoousios), thereby taking a decidedly anti-Arian stand. Arius was then exiled to Illyria.

And then in 381AD, the First Council of Constantinople, convened by Roman emperor Theodosius I, then emperor of the East and a recent convert to early Catholicism, drew up a dogmatic statement on the Trinity and defined the Ruach Ha Kodesh as having the same sovereignty expressed for the Son by the Council of Nicaea 56 years earlier.

So, let’s summarize what happened concerning the development of the Trinity:

  1. The Trinity doctrine is not taught anywhere in scripture, but trinities were common in Paganism and were prominent in Egypt and Babylon.
  2. The beginnings of recognition of this doctrine started at the Council of Nicaea approximately 325 AD, hundreds of years after the last book in the Scripturese was written.
  3. The Council of Nicaea was organized by the Roman Emperor Constantine in which he had the final say on matters that he had little understanding of.
  4. Creed followed creed, and eventually idols were accepted as forms that we can worship YHWH through, and Mary was exalted to be the Mother of YHWH and worship of the saints was sanctioned.
  5. The organized denominations are different than the Body of Messiah spoken of in the Scriptures, proving that most denominations are still rooted in a creed, and in the Trinity doctrine, with most denominations still having the Trinity Doctrine as a foundation, of which originally came from Babylon.
  6. The mother of these denominations is the Roman Catholic Church, which has murdered anywhere from tens of millions to well over 50 million people, had armies and banned access to the scriptures to Believers, which also is known today as the Dark Ages.
  1. During the Reformation, the teachings and authority of the Catholic Church was challenged, with some truths becoming popular once again to the Body of Messiah.
  2. As a result many new denominations started up, but unfortunately they held onto some of the creeds, and in particular, held onto the Trinity doctrine.

The Roman Catholic Church (RCC) is also responsible for burning to death millions of people, many of whom were Believers. They labeled people as heretics for things like reading scripture, translating scripture or daring to obey the Scriptures instead of their traditions (traditions of men).

Most denominations today have a Statement of Faith as their foundation, and are usually based on creeds. Often, Believers are required to take out membership, which often requires an acceptance of a particular Statement of Faith, even though it is un-Sriptural.

Now, let’s further establish Who Yahusha is:

Here are some early church fathers concerning the El of Messiah:

  • Barnabas, companion of Paul (c. 70-130AD)
“He is Lord of all the world, to whom God said at the foundation of the world, ‘Let us make man after our image, and after our likeness.’”
  • Ignatius, Bishop of the Church at Antioch (c. 105AD)

Or how shall man pass into God, unless God has first passed into man?”
  • Clement of Alexandria, Renowned Christian Teacher in Egypt (c. 195AD) “O the Great God! O the Perfect Child! The Son in the Father and the Father in the Son… God the Word, who became man for our sakes.” “Nothing, then, is hated by God, nor yet by the Word. For both are one – that is, God. For He has said, ‘In the beginning the Word was in God, and the Word was God.'” “The Word itself, that is the Son of God, is one with the Father by equality of substance. He is eternal and uncreated.”
  •  Hippolytus, Leading Presbyter at the Church in Rome (c. 205AD) “Although He endured the cross, yet as God He returned to life, having trampled upon death.”
  • Origen, Famous Pupil of Clement of Alexandria (c. 225AD)
“No one should be offended that the Savior is also God, seeing God is the Father. Likewise, since the Father is called Omnipotent, no one should be offended that the Son of God is also called Omnipotent. For in this way, the words will be true that He says to the Father: ‘All mine are yours, and yours are mine, and I am glorified in them.’” “The Son is not different from the Father in substance.”

Even Pagans noted the early Believers equating Messiah with Elohim:

Pliny the Younger (61-112AD), also known as Gaius Plinius Caecilius Secundus, was the governor of Bithynia (AD 112) and a Roman senator. When writing to emperor Trajan asking for guidance on how he should treat the Believers in his province, he wrote that Believers were “meeting on a certain fixed day before it was light, when they sang in alternate verse a hymn to Christ as to a god…”

And William Lane Craig, in his book, “Reasonable Faith: Christian Truth and Apologetics”, writes, “Studies by NT scholars such as Martin Hengel of Tubingen University, C.F.D. Moule of Cambridge, and others have proved that within twenty years of the crucifixion a full-blown Christology proclaiming Jesus as God incarnate existed…the oldest Christian sermon, the oldest account of a Christian martyr, the oldest pagan report of the Church, and the oldest liturgical prayer (1 Corinthians 16:22) all refer to Christ as Lord and God.”

Now let’s take a look at what the Ruach Ha Kodesh of Elohim is:

  • The Hebrew word for ’’Spirit,’’ or ’’Ruach,’’ is breath, wind, breeze, spirit, air, and strength.
  • Acts 2:1 When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a RUSHING, MIGHTY WIND, AND IT FILLED THE WHOLE HOUSE where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Ruach Ha Kodesh, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Ruach gave them utterance.
  • John 20:22 And when he had said this, HE BREATHED ON THEM and saith unto them, Receive ye the Ruach Ha Kodesh.
  • Ezekiel 37:4 Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of Elohim. Thus saith Elohim YHWH unto these bones; Behold, I WILL CAUSE BREATH TO ENTER YOU, and ye shall live.
  • Ezekiel 37:9 Then said he unto me, PROPHECY UNTO THE WIND, prophesy, son of man, and SAY TO THE WIND, Thus saith Elohim YHWH; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live. So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.
  • John 3:8 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Ruach is ruach. Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Ruach.
  • In the NIV, Zechariah 6:5 refers to the “four winds of the heavens” riding in chariots, possibly the four winds of heaven going North, East, West and South.
  • The “breath” of Yahuah and the “Spirit” or Ruach of Yahuah are synonymous terms (Job 4:9; Ps. 33:6; Ps. 104:29 and 30; John 3:8; Job 27:3).

There are many ways the scriptures define the Ruach OF Elohim as impersonal:

  • It is referred to as a gift (Acts 10:45; 1 Timothy 4:14).
  • We are told that the Ruach Ha Kodesh can be quenched (1 Thessalonians 5:19).
  • It can be poured out (Acts 2:17, 33).
  • It is shed (Acts 2:33).
  • We are baptized with it (Matthew 3:11).
  • People can drink of it (John 7:37-39).
  • People partake of it (Hebrews 6:4).
  • People are filled with it (Acts 2:4; Ephesians 5:18).
  • It renews us (Titus 3:5).
  • It must be stirred up within us (2 Timothy 1:6).
  • It is called “the Ruach Ha Kodesh of promise.”
  • It is called “the guarantee of our inheritance.”
  • It is called “the Ruach of wisdom and revelation.” (Ephesians 1:13-14, 17).
  • It is a wind (Acts 2:2).
  • It is fire (verse 3).
  • It is water (John 4:14; 7:37-39).
  • It is oil (Psalm 45:7; also Acts 10:38; Matthew 25:1-10).
  • It is a dove (Matthew 3:16).
  • It is a down payment on eternal life (2 Corinthians 1:22; 5:5; Ephesians 1:13-14, KJV).
  • The “Ruach of Yahuah” is synonymous with the “hand” and “the finger” of Elohim (Ezek. 3:14; Job 26:13; Ps. 8:3; Luke 11:20).

Here are some interesting things to consider:

  • If Elohim were a Trinity, surely Paul would have taught this concept. Yet we find no such teaching in His writings.
  • Paul’s standard greeting in his letter to the Assemblies and to individuals was, “Grace to you and peace from Yahuah our Father and Yahusha Messiah.” The same is true of Peter in the salutations of both his epistles.
  • In all of Paul’s writings, only in 2 Corinthians 13:14 is the Ruach Ha Kodesh mentioned along with the Father and Messiah, and there only in connection with the “fellowship of the Ruach Ha Kodesh” in which believers share. Paul describes Elohim’s Ruach as the unifying agent that brings us together in set-apart, righteous fellowship with one another and with the Father and Son.
  • Notice that our fellowship is of the Ruach Ha Kodesh, not with the Ruach Ha Kodesh. John 1:3 tells us, “Truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son, Yahusha Messiah.”
  • Paul states that “there is one Yahuah, the Father…and One Yahusha Messiah” (1 Corinthians 8:6), making no mention of the Ruach Ha Kodesh as an El person.
  • Yahusha never spoke of the Ruach Ha Kodesh as a third Person of Elohim, but instead, in numerous passages He spoke only of the relationship between Yahuah the Father and Himself (Matthew 26:39; Mark 13:32; 15:34; John 5:18, 22; etc.).
  • Yahusha doesn’t mention the Ruach Ha Kodesh as a person in His teachings, instead are His many statements about Himself and the Father.
  • In visions of Yahuah’s throne the Father and Messiah are seen, but the Ruach Ha Kodesh is never seen (Acts 7:55-56; Daniel 7:9-14; Revelation 4-5; 7:10).
  • The final and last book of the Scriptures to be written does not mention the Ruach Ha Kodesh as an El person, but describes “a new heaven and new earth” (Revelation 21:1) wherein “the tabernacle of Yahuah is with men, and He will dwell with them”

Here are some other things to consider about the Ruach Ha Kodesh OF Elohim:

  • Anchor Bible Dictionary describes the Ruach Ha Kodesh as the “manifestation of divine presence and power perceptible especially in prophetic inspiration”
  • Repeatedly the Scriptures reveal that Elohim imparted El inspiration to His prophets and servants THROUGH the Ruach Ha Kodesh.
  • Paul wrote that Yahuah’s plan for humanity had been “revealed by the Ruach to His kodesh apostles and prophets” (Ephesians 3:5) and that his own teachings were inspired by the Ruach Ha Kodesh (1 Corinthians 2:13).
  • Paul explains that it is through Yahuah’s Ruach that Yahuah has revealed to Believers the things He has prepared for those who love Him.
  • Working through the Ruach, Yahuah the Father is the revealer of truth to those who serve Him.
  • Yahusha told His followers that the Ruach Ha Kodesh, which the Father would send, “will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you”
  • It is through Elohim’s Ruach within us that we gain ru’chani insight and understanding and come to receive the very “mind of Messiah” (1 Corinthians 2:16), also referred to as the “mind of the Ruach” (Romans 8:27).
  • Messiah was prophesied to have “the Ruach of wisdom and understanding, the Ruach of counsel and might, the Ruach of knowledge and of the fear of Elohim (Isaiah 11:2).
  • Messiah portrayed in His personal conduct the divine attributes of Almighty YHWH through the power of the Ruach Ha Kodesh (1 Timothy 3:16).
  • The Ruach Ha Kodesh is not only the Ruachof Yahuah the Father, but it is the “Ruach of Messiah” (Romans 8:9; Philippians 1:19). Remember that there is ONLY ONE Ruach (1 Corinthians 12:13; Ephesians 4:4).
  • The Father imparts the same Ruach to Believers through Messiah (John 14:26; 15:26; Titus 3:5-6), leading and enabling them to be His children and “partakers of the El nature” (Romans 8:14; 2 Peter 1:4).
  • Yahuah, Who has eternal life in Himself, gives that life to others through the Ruach (John 5:26; 6:63; Romans 8:11).
  • There is an account of the Ruach of Elohim, the Ruach of wisdom, the ruach of understanding, the ruach of counsel, the ruach of might, the ruach of knowledge and the ruach of the fear of Elohim.
  • By this Ruach,Yahusha is still present with those that love him (John): “I will come to you” (14:18); “I am in you” (14:20); and “I will show myself” (14:21).
  • Luke 21:15 tells us that Messiah will give us “a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.”
  • If Messiah has a Ruach and the Father has a Ruac hand the Ruach Ha Kodesh is a Ruach, then why is their ONLY ONE Ruach? (Ephesians 4:4)
  • By definition, the Ruach of Yahuah is derived from Yahuah, so what comes from Yahuah as its source cannot also be “Yahuah.”
  • In Scriptural usage, “the Ruach Ha Kodesh” is a synonymous term for “Yahuah.” In Acts 5:3, Peter says Ananias lied to “the Ruach Ha Kodesh,” but in verse 4 Peter says he lied to “Yahuah.” This is an example of the common Semitic parallelism of equivalent terms.
  • “The Ruach Ha Kodesh” is equivalent to “the power of the Most High,” as Luke 1:35 (NIV) clearly indicates by another use of parallelism (Luke 24:49; Acts 1:8;10:38; Romans 15:13; Romans 15:18 and 19; 1 Corinthians. 2:4 and 5).
  • Matthew 1:18 records that Mary “was found to be with child through ‘the Ruach Ha Kodesh.’” Yet all through the New Testament are references to the fact that Yahuah is the Father of our Yahusha. How can “Yahuah” be “the Father” and “the Ruach Ha Kodesh” also be “the father” of Yahusha?
  • By this Ruach, Yahusha’s work with them would continue (John): “It will teach you”(14:26); “It will remind you of everything I have said” (14:26); “It will testify about me” (15:26); “It will convict the world of guilt” (in preparation for His judgment—16:8); “It will guide you into all truth” (16:13); “It will bring esteem to me by taking what is mine and making it known to you” (16:14).
  • The “Ruach Ha Kodesh” is used synonymously and interchangeably with “the Ruach of Yahusha” (Acts 16:7; Phil. 1:19); “the Ruach of Elohim” (Luke 4:18, etc.); “the Ruach of his Son” (Gal. 4:6); “the Ruach of Yahusha Messiah” (Phil. 1:19). In this usage, “the Ruach” is the mind and power of Yahusha Messiah.
  • In Acts 16:6 (NIV), “the Ruach Ha Kodesh” kept Paul and his companions from preaching in Asia, but in Verse 7 (NIV) it says that the “Ruach of Yahusha” would not allow them to enter Bithynia.
  • 2 Corinthians 3:17 and 18 says that Yahusha is “the Ruach.” He has been invested with all ru’chani authority and power to effectively carry out His responsibility as the Head of His body. By His “Ruach” He is able to guide and direct His many servants (2 Cor. 12:8 and 9).
  • Galatians 5:22 and 23 list the “fruit of the Ruach” (the nature of Yahusha); John 15:5 says, “If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit.”
  • The “Ruach of your Father” is synonymous with “the Ruach Ha Kodesh,” and is said to speak in our stead when we might be brought before men for possible persecution or trial (Matt.10:19 and 20; Mark 13:11; Luke 12:11 and 12).
  • The Ruach Ha Kodesh is the very nature, presence and expression of Elohim’s power actively working in His servants (2 Peter 1:4; Galatians 2:20).
  • Peter explains that “Yahuah anointed Yahusha of Nazareth with the Ruach Ha Kodesh and with power” (Acts 10:38).
  • Messiah performed many miracles and worked through the apostle Paul “in mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Ruach of Yahuah” (Romans 15:19).
  • Yahusha began His ministry “in the power of the Ruach” (Luke 4:14).
  • Yahusha told His followers, “You shall receive power when the Ruach Ha Kodesh has come upon you” (Acts 1:8).
  • Scriptures refer to the Ruach Ha Kodesh as Elohim’s El power (Zechariah 4:6; Micah 3:8).
  • Another example of the Ruach of Messiah: “for Yahuah hath sent forth the Ruach of  His Son into our hearts crying, Abba, Father.” (Galatians 4:6)
  • Yet another example of the Ruach of Messiah: “If any man have not the Ruach of Messiah he is none of His.” (Rom. 8:9)
  • We are told that the “the ruachs of the prophets are subject to the prophets” (1 Corinthians 14:32).
  • We are sanctified by the Ruach (2 Thess. 2:13); we are sanctified in Messiah Yahusha (1 Cor. 1:2), whom Yahuah made to be sanctification for us (1 Cor. 1:30).
  •  We are strengthened by the Ruach in the inner man (Eph. 3:16); Messiah dwells in our hearts (Eph. 3:17).
  • We have access to the Father by the Ruach (Eph. 2:18); in Messiah and through faith in Him we have access with confidence to Yahuah (Eph. 3:12).
  • The Ruach apportions to each one individually as it chooses (1 Cor. 12:11); Yahusha pours out the Ruach (Acts 2:33) and gave some apostles, some prophets, etc. (Eph. 4:11).
  • The Ruach intercedes for us (Rom. 8:26); Messiah Yahusha intercedes for us (Rom. 8:34).
  • The only verse that would indicate that there might be three persons sharing one name is Matthew 28:19: “…baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” But this verse is quoted in a different form by the early Believing Fathers, notably Eusebius, who quotes the verse at least 18 times as follows: “baptizing them in My name.”
  • Both the Father and Son are shown to send the Comforter: “But the Comforter, which is the Ruach Ha Kodesh, whom the Father will send in my name, it shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” John 14:26 “Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.” (John 16:7) “Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.” (Ephesians 4:8, Acts 2:33)
  • The Comforter points to and esteems Messiah.
“But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Ruach of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:” (John 15:26) “Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Ruach of Yahuah calleth Yahusha accursed: and that no man can say that Yahusha is Messiah, but by the Ruach Ha Kodesh.” (1 Corinthians 12:3)
  • We are told the Ruach is FROM Yahuah: “And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him. And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Ruach Ha Kodesh. And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of Yahuah. (John 1:32-34)
  • Elohim is said to be omnipresent by His “Ruach” (Job 31:4, Proverbs 5:20,21).
  • We are told that “No man hath seen Elohim at any time. If we love one another, Elohim dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us. Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Ruach. And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. (1 John 4:12-14)
  • We are told that Elohim is the Ruach: “Now Elohim is the Ruach, and where the Ruach of Elohim is, there is liberty.” (2 Cor 3:17).
  • Yahuah uses Kodesh Messengers to speak as if they were Yahuah Himself, and even to use His personal name, Yahuah. (Judges 13:21-22, Genesis 32:24-30, Hosea 12:3-5, Exodus 3: 2-4,6 and 16, Judges 6:12,13 and 22)
  • The Hebrew usage of “the Ruach of Elohim” never refers to a person separate from, but a part of, Yahuah Almighty. Neither does the phrase, “the Ruachs of Elohim” occur, which would refer to separate Ru’chani entities within a multi-personal Elohim.
  • The Scriptures never tell us to pray to, lift up, praise, honor, sing to, speak to, esteem or otherwise venerate as a sovereignty of Elohim concerning the Ruach OF Elohim.
  • Elohim is referred to as a Ruach (John 4:24).
  • While much is said by Messiah concerning His love for His Father, no such reference is made to the Ruach.
  • While Scriptures mention the love the Father and Son has for Believers, no mention is made of the love of the Ruach for them.
  • It should be noted that pneuma hagion often refers to the gift of Elohim, the El nature born inside us. This El nature is a “thing,” not a person. Thus it should be referred to with pronouns such as “it,” “that,” or “which,” and not “who,” or “whom.”

‘Mystery Babylon,’ the ‘Great Whore’ of Revelation is Revealed! The Vatican is in Rome, Built Within “Seven Hills” Which the “City” Sits Upon

For those of the Catholic faith (I grew up Catholic, went to Catholic school), this blog entry was NOT made as spite towards or hatred for or of Catholics, but rather to tell the truth and warn those who seek the truth to flee false doctrines to serve the Living Elohim.

The following is an excerpt from false [note: just because one is false on some teachings doesn’t mean they are false on ALL teachings] teacher (teaches “once saved, always saved (OSAS)” and the false pretribulation “rapture” of the Saints for doctrines) Dave Hunt’s book, “A Woman Rides the Beast”:

“Babylon is a code word for Rome. It is used that way six times in the last book of the Bible [four of the six are in chapters 17 and 18 and in extrabiblical works such as Sibylling Oracles (5, 159f.), the Apocalypse of Baruch (ii, 1), and 4 Esdras (3:1).Eusebius Pamphilius, writing about 303, noted that “it is said that Peter’s first epistle… was composed at Rome itself; and that he himself indicates this, referring to the city figuratively as Babylon.”

As far as “mystery” is concerned, “mysterium fide” is pronounced…they refer to as the transformation of the bread and wine into the literal body and blood of Christ, with Rome’s new Catechism explaining that liturgy “aims to initiate souls into the mystery of Christ (called ‘mystagogy’),” and all of the Church’s liturgy being a “mystery.”

Now the “whore” which the holy scriptures is talking about is engaged in spiritual fornication, of which the Vatican has been doing for many centuries. The Vatican has claimed since it’s beginnings and maintains to this day that she is the worldwide headquarters of Christianity, with her pope claiming to be the one, true and exclusive representative of Elohim, referred to as “the vicar of Christ.” Rome has been the headquarters of the Roman Catholic Church for fifteen centuries, with the popes having long claimed their dominion over the world and its Peoples.

And according to Dave Hunt’s book, Pope Alexander VI (1492-1503) claimed that all undiscovered lands belonged to the pope, with King John II of Portugal convinced that the pope had granted all that Columbus discovered exclusively to him and his country, while Ferdinand and Isabel of Spain thinking the pope had given the same lands to them.

And turning to Hunt’s book again, Pope Alexander VI drew a north-south line down the global map of that day and gave everything on the east to Portugal and everything on the west to Spain. Thus “out of the plenitude of apostolic power” Africa went to Portugal and the Americas went to Spain, with the condition “to the intent to bring the inhabitants … to profess the Catholic Faith.”

Thus Roman Catholicism was forced upon Central and South America  them by the sword and remain Catholic to this day, while North America (but not Quebec and Louisiana) was settled mostly by Protestants.

Keep in mind that the words “Vatican” and “Rome” are universally used interchangeably, with the Roman Catholic Church (RCC) exercising both religious and civil control over the entire city of Rome and its surroundings for a thousand years . Pope Innocent III (1198-1216) even abolished the Roman Senate, placing the administration of Rome directly under his command. And according to the ‘Pocket Catholic Dictionary,’ Rome is now the designation of “the whole ensemble of administrative and judicial offices through which the Pope directs the operations of the Catholic Church.”

And turning to Hunt’s book again, “The most definitive Catholic encyclopedia since Vatican II” declares:

“…hence, one understands the central place of Rome in the life of the Church today and the significance of the title, Roman Catholic Church, the Church that is universal, yet focused upon the ministry of the Bishop of Rome. Since the founding of the Church there by St. Peter, Rome has been the center of all Christendom.”

According to the prophecy of the book of Revelation, the woman was dressed “in purple and scarlet color, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication” (Rev. 17:4). Purple and scarlet were the colors of the Roman Caesars, and are the colors of the Catholic clergy. The Catholic Encyclopedia states:

“A cloak with a long train and a hooded shoulder cape … [it] was purple wool for bishops; for cardinals, it was scarlet watered silk (for Advent, Lent, Good Friday, and the conclave, purple wool); and rose watered silk for Gaudete and Lactate Sundays; and for the pope, it was red velvet for Christmas Matins, red serge at other times.”

Turning again to Revelation, the “golden cup in her hand” also identifies with the RCC, with The Catholic Encyclopedia declaring:

“[It is] the most important of the sacred vessels…. [It] may be of gold or silver, and if the latter, then the inside must be surfaced with gold.” The Roman Catholic Church possesses many thousands of solid gold chalices kept in its churches around the world. Even the bloodstained cross of Christ has been turned to gold and studded with gems in reflection of Rome’s great wealth. The Catholic Encyclopedia says: “The pectoral cross [suspended by a chain around the neck and worn over the breast by abbots, bishops, archbishops, cardinals, and the pope] should be made of gold and…decorated with gems…”

Remember that much of the wealth of the RCC was stolen from the victims of its Inquisitions (which we will cover later), with even the dead exhumed to face trial and their property taken from their heirs by the Church. One historian writes:

“The punishments of the Inquisition did not cease when the victim was burned to ashes, or immured for life in the Inquisition dungeons. His relatives were reduced to beggary by the law that all his possessions were forfeited. The system offered unlimited opportunities for loot….

This source of gain largely accounts for the revolting practice of what has been called ‘corpse-trials.’… That the practice of confiscating the property of condemned heretics was productive of many acts of extortion, rapacity and corruption will be doubted by no one who has any knowledge either of human nature or of the historical documents…. no man was safe whose wealth might arouse cupidity, or whose independence might provoke revenge.”

Also, billions of dollars have been paid to the RCC by individual thinking they were purchasing their place in heaven on the installment plan for themselves or loved ones, with Cardinal Cajetan complaining about the sale of dispensations and indulgences, and Church hierarchy accused him of wanting “to turn Rome into an uninhabited desert, to reduce the Papacy to impotence, to deprive the pope… of the pecuniary resources indispensable for the discharge of his office.”

And Nino Lo Bello, who was a correspondent in Rome for Business Week, wrote that the Vatican is so closely allied with the Mafia in Italy that “many people … believe that Sicily … is nothing more than a Vatican holding.”

Also, don’t forget the value of its many sculptures, paintings and other art treasures and ancient documents of the Vatican and inside its cathedrals around the world.

Now turning to Revelation again, the Great Whore was seen drunken with “the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Yahusha…”

The Inquisitions (Roman, Medieval, and Spanish) were perpetrated upon the Peoples of Europe, with an estimated 3 million murdered and about 300,000 burned at the stake in Spain alone.

A Catholic historian commenting on the Spanish Inquisition wrote:

“When Napoleon conquered Spain in 1808, a Polish officer in his army, Colonel Lemanouski, reported that the Dominicans [in charge of the Inquisition] blockaded themselves in their monastery…the inquisitors denied the existence of any torture chambers. The soldiers searched the monastery and discovered them under the floors. The chambers were full of prisoners, all naked, many insane. The French troops, used to cruelty and blood, could not stomach the sight. They emptied the torture-chambers, laid gunpowder to the monastery and blew the place up.”

And Church historian Bishop William Shaw Kerr writes:

“The most ghastly abomination of all was the system of torture. The accounts of its cold-blooded operations make one shudder at the capacity of human beings for cruelty. And it was decreed and regulated by the popes who claim to represent Christ on earth…

Careful notes were taken not only of all that was confessed by the victim, but of his shrieks, cries, lamentations, broken interjections and appeals for mercy. The most moving things in the literature of the Inquisition are not the accounts of their sufferings left by the victims but the sober memoranda kept by the officers of the tribunals…there is no intention to shock us.”

Also, Emelio Martinez writes in a book published in 1909: “To these three million victims [documented by Llorente] should be added the thousands upon thousands of Jews and Moors deported from their homeland…In just one year, 1481, and just in Seville, the Holy Office [of the Inquisition] burned 2000 persons; the bones and effigies of another 2000…and another 16,000 were condemned to varying sentences.”

Even Peter de Rosa acknowledges that the RCC “was responsible for persecuting Jews, for the Inquisition, for slaughtering heretics by the thousand, for reintroducing torture into Europe as part of the judicial process.”

In 1096, Pope Urban II was the impetus of the first crusade to retake Jerusalem from the Muslims, with one of the Crudaders’ first acts upon taking Jerusalem “for Holy Mother Church” was to put the Jews into a synagogue and set it on fire.

In 1936, Bishop Berning of Osnabruch talked with Hitler for over an hour, with Hitler saying, “I am only doing what the church has done for fifteen hundred years, only more effectively.” Being a Catholic himself, Hitler told Berning that he “admired and wanted to promote Christianity.”

Turning to Revelation again, the woman “is that great city which reigneth over the kings of the earth.” The First Vatican Council in 1869 saw the Professor of Church History in Munich, J.H. Ignaz von Dollinger, warning that Pope Pius IX would force the Council to make decrees of “that pet theory of the Popes–that they could force kings and magistrates, by excommunication and its consequences, to carry out their sentences of confiscation, imprisonment, and death….”

J.H. Ignaz von Dollinger writes:

“When, for instance, [Pope] Martin IV placed King Pedro of Aragon under excommunication and interdict…then promised indulgences for all their sins to these who fought with him and [tyrant] Charles [I of Naples) against Pedro, and finally declared his kingdom forfeit…which cost the two kings of France and Aragon their life, and the French the loss of an army…Pope Clement IV, in 1265, after selling millions of South Italians to Charles of Anjou for a yearly tribute of eight hundred ounces of gold, declared that he would be excommunicated if the first payment was deferred beyond the appointed term, and that for the second neglect the whole nation would incur interdict…”

Public Eccliastical says this: “The church may by divine right confiscate the property of heretics, imprison their person, and condemn them to flames. In our age, the right to inflict the severest penalties, even death, belongs to the church. There is no graver offense than heresy, therefore it must be rooted out.”

Rector of the Catholic Institute of Paris, H.M.A. Baudrillart is quoted as saying, “When confronted with heresy, she (Catholic Church) does not content herself with persuasion, arguments of an intellectual and moral order appear to her insufficient, and she has recourse to force, to corporal punishment, to torture.”

Quoting from the ‘Directory for the Inquisitors,’ “A heretic merits the pains of fire….By the Gospel, the canons, civil law, and custom, heretics must be burned.”

And don’t forget that the Vatican is the only city which exchanges ambassadors with nations, doing so with every major country on the planet.

It is said that there were 95 popes who claimed to have divine power to depose kings and emperors, with historian Walter James writing that Pope Innocent III (1198-1216) “held all Europe in his net,” and Gregory IX (1227-41) proclaiming that the pope was lord and master of everyone and everything. Historian R.W. Southern declared:

“During the whole medieval period there was in Rome a single spiritual and temporal authority [the papacy] exercising powers which in the end exceeded those that had ever lain within the grasp of a Roman emperor.”

And Pope Nicholas I (858-67) declared: “We [popes] alone have the power to bind and to loose, to absolve Nero and to condemn him; and Christians cannot, under penalty of excommunication, execute other judgment than ours, which alone is infallible.”

Nicholas wrote: “We order you, in the name of religion, to invade his states, burn his cities, and massacre his people…”

Rev. 17:15 states: “And he said to me, “The waters which you saw, where the whore sits, are peoples and crowds and nations and tongues.”

It is important to note that when Revelation is talking about ‘Mystery Babylon,’ it is talking about a Church, with Revelation speaking of the true Assembly of Believers in Yahusha Messiah dressed in white, while the ‘Great Whore’ sits on a beast. In the Old Covenant, Yisra’el was referred to as a “Harlot” and a “Whore” when she worshiped other sovereigns and committed spiritual adultery.

Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) 3:1-25 “Elohim said, “If a man puts away his wife and she goes from him and becomes another man’s, does he return to her again? Would not that land be made greatly unclean? But you have committed whoring with many lovers. And would you return to Me?” declares Behold Nail Behold Hand =YAHUAH. “Lift up your eyes to the bare heights and see: where have you not lain with men? Besides the ways you have sat for them like an Arabian in the wilderness. And you made the land unclean with your WHORINGS and your evil. “Therefore the showers have been withheld and there has been no latter rain. You have had a WHORE’S forehead, you refuse to be ashamed…And Behold Nail Behold Hand =YAHUAH said to me in the days of Yoshiyahu the sovereign, “Have you seen what backsliding Yisra’el has done? She has gone up on every high mountain and under every green tree and there COMMITTED WHORING. And after she had done all these, I said, ‘Return to Me,’ But she did not return. And her treacherous sister Yahudah saw it. And I saw that for all the causes for which backsliding Yisra’el had COMMITTED ADULTERY, I had put here away and given her a CERTIFICATE OF DIVORCE; yet her treacherous sister Yahudah did not fear, bet went and COMMITTED WHORING, too. And it came to be, through her FRIVOLOUS WHORING, that she defiled the land and COMMITTED ADULTERY WITH STONES AND WOOD.”

Yehezqel (Ezekiel) 16:26-32 “And you WHORED with the sons of Mitsrayim, your neighbours, great of flesh. And you increased your WHORINGS to provoke ME. And see, I have stretched out My hand against you and withdrew your portion and gave yo up to the desire of those who hate you, the daughters of the Philistines, who are shamed of YOUR wicked way. And you WHORED with the sons of Ashshur, without being satisfied. And you WHORED with them and still were not satisfied. And you increased your WHORINGS as far as the land of traders, Chaldea and even then you were not satisfied. ‘How weak is your heart! declares the Master Behold Nail Behold Hand =YAHUAH, ‘seeing you do all this, the DEEDS OF A SHAMELESS WHORE. You BUILT YOUR ARCHED PLACE at the head of every way and BUILT your high place in every street. Yet you were unlike a WHORE, YOU SCORNED PAYMENT! The wife who commits adultery who takes strangers instead of her husband! To all WHORES they give gifts, but you gave gifts to all your lovers and bribed them to come to you from all around in your WHORINGS. Thus YOU ARE DIFFERENT FROM OTHER WOMEN in your WHORINGS, because no one WHORES after you and in you giving a gift, while a gift was not given to you, thus you are different.’

Now turning to Revelation, we read about the false body of Believers in Yahusha Messiah: Rev. 17:1-3 “…Come, I shall show you the judgment of the GREAT WHORE sitting on many waters, with whom the sovereigns of the earth were made drunk with the WINE OF HER WHORING.” And he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a WOMAN sitting on a scarlet beast covered with names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. And the WOMAN was dressed in PURPLE and SCARLET and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, holding in her hand a golden cup filled with ABOMINATIONS and the FILTHINESS OF HER WHORING, and upon HER forehead a name written, a secret: BABEL THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF THE WHORES AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. And I saw THE WOMAN DRUNK WITH THE BLOOD of the Set-Apart Ones and with the blood of the witnesses of Yahusha Anointed One.

Then we read about the true body of Believers of Yahusha Messiah: Rev. 12:14 “And THE WOMAN was given two wings of a great eagle, to fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent.”

Now, how about the phrase, ‘BABEL, THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF THE WHORES AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH?’ Pope Benedict referred to the Catholic Church as being the “MOTHER” Church, calling for all the daughter Churches to come back to HER. This is because the ‘Protestant’ churches came from the Catholic church, with these churches persecuting the body of Believers in Yahusha Messiahwhom they derided as ‘Anabaptists.’

Doctor Alexander Hislop wrote: “To conciliate the Pagans to nominal Christianity, Rome, pursuing its usual policy, took measures to get the Christian and Pagan festivals [that’s the Sabbath and Sunday] amalgamated, and…to get Paganism and Christianity now far sunk in idolatry in this as in so many other things, to shake hands.” And “A glance at the main pillars of the Papal system will sufficiently prove that its doctrine and discipline in all essential respects have been derived from BABYLON.”

The Story of Catholicism says: “It has often been charged… that Catholicism is overlaid with many pagan incrustations. Catholicism is ready to accept that accusation and even to make it her boast…the great god Pan is not really dead, he is baptized.”

John Henry wrote: “The use of temples, and these dedicated to particular saints, and ornamented on occasions with branches of trees; incense, lamps, and candles; votive offerings on recovery from illness; holy water; asylums; holy days and seasons, use of calendars, processions, blessings on the fields; sacerdotal vestments, the tonsure, the ring in marriage, turning to the East, images at a later date, perhaps the ecclesiastical chant, and the Kyrie Eleison are all of pagan origin, and sanctified by their adoption into the Church.”

Lewis Brown wrote: “One cannot well refer to those cults of Babylon and Egypt and the rest as DEAD religions. For the echo of their ancient thunder is still to be heard reverberating in almost every form of faith existing today. Ancient Babylonian image worship is in the church today. Ancient Babylonian sun worship is there…”

And finally historian Arthur P. Stanley wrote: “His coins bore on the one side the letters of the name of Christ; on the other, the figure of the SUN GOD, as if he could not bear to relinquish the patronage of the bright luminary.”

Did you know that the statue of St Peter in St Peters Cathedral was originally the statue of the pagan god Jupiter, which had its foot kissed away and replaced several times because of the multitudes that bowed down to it and kissed its foot?

Now how about the phrase, “a woman sit upon a scarlet beast covered with names of blasphemy?”

In Luke we read, “And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, “Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who is able to forgive sins except Elohim alone?” But the RCC says that their Priest can forgive sins.

In the Catholic National, July 1895, we find this: “The Pope is not only the representative of Jesus Christ, but he is Jesus Christ, Himself, hidden under the veil of human flesh.”

Pope Pius V is said to have uttered this: “The Pope and God are the same, so he has all power in Heaven and earth.”

Decretal, de Tranlatic Episcop: “The pope has power to change times, abrogate laws, and dispense with all things, even the precepts of Christ.”

Pope Leo XIII wrote, “We hold upon this earth the place of God almighty.”

Speaking of the Papacy, John Wesley wrote, “He is in an emphatical sense, the Man of Sin, as he increases all manner of sin above measure. And he is, too, properly styled the Son of Perdition, as he has caused the death of numberless multitudes, both of his opposers and followers… He it is…that exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped…claiming the highest power, and highest honour…claiming the prerogatives which belong to God alone.”

Roger Williams spoke of the Pope as “the pretended Vicar of Christ on earth, who sits as God over the Temple of God, exalting himself not only above all that is called God, but over the souls and consciences of all his vassals, yea over the Spirit of Christ, over the Holy Spirit, yea, and God himself…speaking against the God of heaven, thinking to change times and laws…”

St. Catherine of Siena: “Even if the Pope were Satan incarnate, we ought not to raise up our heads against him, but calmly lie down to rest on his bosom. He who rebels against our Father is condemned to death, for that which we do to him we do to Christ: we honor Christ if we honor the Pope; we dishonor Christ if we dishonor the Pope. I know very well that many defend themselves by boasting: ‘They are so corrupt, and work all manner of evil!’ But God has commanded that, even if the priests, the pastors, and Christ-on-earth were incarnate devils, we be obedient and subject to them, not for their sakes, but for the sake of God, and out of obedience to Him.”

Lucius Ferraris: “The Pope is of great authority and power, that he is able to modify, declare, or interpret even divine laws. The Pope can modify divine law, since his power is not of man, but of God, and he acts as vicegerent of God upon earth…”

Decretales Domini Gregori ix: “We may according to the fullness of our power, dispose of the law and dispense above the law. Those whom the Pope of Rome doth separate, it is not a man that separates them but God. For the Pope holdeth place on earth, not simply of a man but of the true God…dissolves, not by human but rather by divine authority…I am in all and above all, so that God Himself and I, the vicar of God, hath both one consistory, and I am able to do almost all that God can do…Wherefore, no marvel, if it be in my power to dispense with all things, yea with the precepts of Christ.”

Roman Catholic Confessions for Protestants Oath: “We confess that the Pope has power of changing Scripture and of adding to it, and taking from it, according to his will.”

Alphonsus De Liguori: “And God himself is obliged to abide by the judgment of his priest and either not to pardon or to pardon, according as they refuse to give absolution, provided the penitent is capable of it.”

And finally, “And I heard another voice from the heavens, saying, Come out of HER, my people, lest you share in HER sins and lest you receive of HER plagues. Because HER sins have piled up to reach the heaven and Elohim has remembered HER unrighteousness. “Render to HER as SHE did render and repay HER double according to HER WORKS. In the cup which SHE has mixed, mix for HER double. As much as SHE esteemed HERSELF and lived riotously, so much torture and grief give to HER, because in HER heart SHE says, ‘I sit as sovereigness and I am not a WIDOW and I do not see mourning at all.’ Because of this HER plagues shall come in one day: death and mourning and scarcity of food. And SHE shall be burned up with fire, because Behold Nail Behold Hand =YAHUAH Elohim who judges HER is mighty. And the sovereigns of the earth who COMMITTED WHORING and lived riotously with HER shall weep and mourn over HER, when they see the smoke of HER burning, standing ast a distance for fear of HER torture, saying, ‘Who! Woe, the great city Babel, the mighty city, because your judgment has come in one hour!’ And the merchants of the earth weep and mourn over HER, because no one buys their merchandise any more… Revelation 18:4-11

Christmas or Christ-Mass, the Holiday Celebrated on December 25th With Deep Demonic, Pagan Roots

I used to think Christmas was a wonderful, great holiday that was really a tribute to Yahusha Ha’Mashiach (our Redeemer Whom most call by a name [Jesus] NOT His original Name). I have recently been exposed to the true roots of this holiday, and I cannot in good conscience continue to celebrate it knowing the Satanic, Pagan roots that this holiday is based upon. Once truth about something is realized, it is sin to the person who continues therein while knowing it to be wrong. So, let’s take a close look at Christ-Mass.

Although I have found no one who knows the exact date when the Messiah was actually born on, many agree it was probably most definitely NOT even close to December 25, and might have been about 6 months after Passover, maybe sometime in September. So, how the hecksterisms did we end up with Dec. 25th you may ask? Well, it all started with that evil guy, whom some call a good man, named Flavius Valerius Aurelius Constantinus, or better know as ‘Constantine.’

Constantine is said to have converted to “Christianity,” and had previously worshiped the pantheon of Roman gods as all his predecessors had done, and especially the Roman sun god, Sol. Constantine sought to blend Natsarim and pagan traditions together, which then formed what we know today as “Christianity.” And at that time, two popular pagan winter festivals were celebrated. The first one started on December 17 and lasted seven days to honor Saturn (Saturnalia, the Winter Solstice), the Roman god of agriculture. The second one started on, you guessed it, December 25, and lasted until January 1, commemorating the birth of Mithras, the Persian god of light. Constantine simply blended many of the traditions from these two festivals with the Nativity story in the scriptures and Christmas was born, with the first mention of December 25 as the date of the Savior’s birth found in a Roman calendar from A.D. 336. So, from the time of Christ until Constantine, there wasn’t any celebration of the birth of the Jewish Messiah.

But, you may ask, what Pagan ideas were blended in with this new brand new holiday? Well, just about everything you can think of concerning Christmas.

This whole season was called Dies Natalis Invicti Solis, the Birthday of the Unconquered Sun, with the festival season being marked by acute merrymaking. Mummers were groups of costumed singers and dancers who traveled from house to house entertaining their neighbors, in which we get the Christmas tradition of caroling.

The pagans of northern Europe celebrated their own winter solstice, known as Yule, which represented the pagan Sun God, Mithras, being born. Observed on the shortest day of the year as the ‘sun god’ grew and matured, it was customary to light a candle to encourage Mithras, and the sun, to reappear next year.

They would burn very large Yule logs in honor of the sun, the word Yule itself meaning “wheel,” as in a pagan symbol for the sun. Mistletoe was considered a sacred plant, and they had a custom of kissing under the mistletoe as a fertility ritual, with holly berries thought to be a food of the gods.

Live evergreen trees were brought into homes during the winter as a reminder that their crops would soon grow again, with evergreen boughs sometimes carried as totems of good luck and present at weddings, representing fertility. The dreaded Druids used the tree as a religious symbol, engaging in their ceremonies while surrounding and worshipping huge trees.

So, the evergreen tree was a symbol of the essence of life and was regarded as a phallic symbol in fertility worship, witches and other pagans regarded the red holly as a symbol of the menstrual blood of the queen of heaven, also known as Diana, and the holly wood was used by witches to make wands. Isn’t this comforting to know?

Oh yea, and the white berries of mistletoe were believed by pagans to represent droplets of the semen of the sun god!

Ivy, which is holly’s mate, in ancient Grecian rites took its name from a girl who danced with such abandon and joy before Dionysius that she fell dead at his feet, with the pagan god moved by her dance, turning her into the ivy that she might entwine whatever is near. Dionysius was the Greek version of the god of wine and revelry, another form of the gods Bacchus, Tammuz, or Nimrod.

The mistletoe was referred to by pagans as the “golden bough and was supposed to posses the power of revealing treasures in the earth, and was formed into a “divining rod.” It was also seen as the “seat of life” of the sacred oak, and as an emanation of the sun’s fire. Kissing under the mistletoe is a survival of Saturnalian sexual licentiousness and bawdy behavior, which was commonplace at the Saturnalia.

The word “Christmas” is a combination of the words “Christ” and “Mass, with the word “Mass” meaning death, and was coined by the Roman Catholic Church.

Turning to the lie that many tell their children concerning the existence of Santa, Santa is supposed to enter the house through the chimney, and was developed from an old Norse legend. The Norse believed that the goddess Hertha appeared in the fireplace and brought good luck to the home.

The original “Nicholas” was Nimrod, the “mighty one against the Lord,” with the word “Nicholas” meaning “mighty one, powerful.” Traditions of a “god” who gave gifts under an evergreen tree dates back over 1,000 years before the so-called St. Nicholas of Asia Minor, and among the Scandinavians, it was the god Odin or Woden who left special gifts during the Yuletide season under the evergreen tree – his sacred tree.

Says van Renterghem: “He was a compilation of two separate saints (one from Myra in Asia Minor, the other from Pinora), both of whom were — as the Church nowadays admits — nothing more than Christianized water deities (possibly related to the Greco-Roman god Poseidon/Neptune).”

Says van Renterghem, further: “By absorbing such PAGAN FEASTS AND TRADITIONS, the Christian Church could subtly bring in its own theology: in this case, establishing the good Saint Nicholas, bringer of love and gifts, while grudgingly allowing the presence of the Olde Religion’s Herne/Pan, but only as a slave to Saint Nicholas. Thus, in parts of Europe, the Church turned Herne into Saint Nicholas’ captive, chained Dark Helper; none other than Satan, the Dark One, symbolic of all evil….

“In Holland and several other European countries, the Saint Nicholas figure is still highly esteemed. He appears as a tall, dignified, bearded, white-haired old man, dressed as a Catholic bishop, complete with cloak, mitre, and pastoral staff, a seemingly genuine Catholic saint, but with a bizarre, quite unsaintly habit of riding through the skies on a white horse, followed by his Dark Helper. It seems that our Catholic saint inherited some of these customs from the pagan god Wodan, who had also been a BEARDED, WHITE-HAIRED OLD MAN, also dressed in a hat and cloak, carried a staff (or spear), rode a white horse, and dragged along the same dark slave/helper on a chain.”

The Dutch “Sinterklaas” brings gifts to good children, while bad children are harassed by the “Dark Helper,” called Zwarte Pier, or “Black Pete.”  Like Santa Claus, Sinterklaas also is supposed to have entered homes through the chimney, with his helper, “Black Pete,” still honored, fur-clad, scary, and mean to children. Although portrayed as the slave helper of Saint Nicholas, the two are many times blended into one character, who often has the name Nikolas or Klaus. Thus “Santa Claus” is blended with Satan the devil.

Odin is another name for Nimrod, who was “the mighty hunter before (meaning against Elohim” (Gen. 10:9).

Says Alexander Hislop: “The Wodan or Odin of Scandinavia can be proved to be the Adon of Babylon.” Nimrod, Adon, or Adonis, of Babylon was the great “war-god.” Odin was the same. Nimrod, in the character of Bacchus, was the god of wine. Odin was said to partake of no other food but wine. The name of one of Odin’s sons, Balder, indicates the meaning of Odin’s own name. Balder is a form of the Chaldee Baal-zer, ‘The seed of Baal.’ The Hebrew ‘z’ in the later Chaldee frequently became a ‘d.’ Baal and Adon both signify ‘Lord.’ Since Balder is the ‘son of Baal,’ as well as the ‘son of Adon,’ or ‘Odin,’ then Baal, Adon, and Odin must be the same person — representative of Nimrod, the first human to be deified and proclaimed by the pagans as a ‘god’ after the Deluge!

“‘Santa Claus,’ then, is not so innocent and cherubic a figure after all! Why do parents take their young children, sit them on ‘Santa’s lap,’ and insist on teaching them Santa Claus myths? The word ‘Santa,’ rearranged, spells “S-A-T-A-N,” and ‘Claus’ is reminiscent of ‘Claws’ — in other words, ‘SATAN’S CLAWS!’ Do you want Satan, the arch-enemy of mankind, to get his ‘claws’ into your children? By teaching them Santa Claus myths, and taking them to ‘Christmas parties,’ with ‘Santa Claus’ handing out ‘gifts,’ you are subtly teaching your children to worship Satan the devil, the great impostor!”

Alexander Hislop: “That Christmas was originally a Pagan festival, is beyond all doubt. The time of the year, and the ceremonies with which it is still celebrated, prove its origin. In Egypt, the son of Isis, the Egyptian title for the queen of heaven, was born at this very time, ‘about the time of the winter solstice.’ The very name by which Christmas is popularly known among ourselves — Yule-day — proves at once its Pagan and Babylonian origin. ‘Yule’ is the Chaldee name for an ‘infant’ or ‘little child;’ and as the 25th of December was called by our Pagan Anglo- Saxon ancestors, ‘Yule-day,’ or the “Child’s day,’ and the night that preceded it, ‘Mother-night,’ long BEFORE they came in contact with Christianity, that sufficiently proves its real character.”

The Saxons offered a boar in sacrifice to the sun, to propitiate the queen of heaven on Dec. 25th, with the boar in pagan mythology having slain the false pagan Messiah. The boar was prominent in the feast of Saturn at Rome, with the boar’s head still a dish in England at Christmas dinner. Says Hislop: “There can be no doubt, then, that the Pagan festival at the winter solstice — in other words, Christmas — was held in honor of the birth of the Babylonian Messiah.”

And what other things coincide with the date of Dec. 25th? The largest pagan religious cult which celebrated sun worship was Mithraismin, celebrated on Dec. 25 . They called it “the Nativity of the Sun,”  with Mithras, the sun-god, supposedly born at this time, together with Osiris, Horus, Tammuz, Hercules, Bacchus, Adonis, Jupiter — all the pagan Messiahs, possibly indicating that all these pagan sun-gods and deities trace their roots back to the original sun-god of ancient Babylon — Nimrod.

T. G. Crippen writes: “Now in December and the beginning of January there were several festivals which were intimately associated with the daily life of the Roman people. First, from the 17th to the 21st December, was the Saturnalia, the great Roman holiday….One might call it the Feast of Topsy-turveydom; when slaves were allowed for a few days to enjoy the semblance of freedom, were waited upon by their masters, and chose from amongst themselves a mock king to preside over their revels. Next, on the 22nd, came Sigillaria, the Feast of Dolls, when a fair was held, and dolls and other toys, mostly of earthenware, were given to children. Then, on 25th, came Brumalia, otherwise Dies Natalis Invicti Solis, The Birthday of the Unconquered Sun, when the days began to lengthen after the solstice….It is believed to have been instituted … by the emperor Aurelian, in honour of Mithras, the Persian sun-god…”

Mithraism was the most popular belief in Rome and Greece, Mithra being a Persian male sun god. Dec. 25th had been the date of the festival called the Nativity, celebrating the birth of Mithra.

Now let’s turn to the tree trimmings. How about the star on top? It’s a five point star related to Nimrod. And Buddhists baked cookies in the shape of sun gods and tied chestnuts with yule ribbons with colors of red and green and tied them to oak trees or evergreens. Little girls would walk through town with candles upon their heads to welcome the sun god into their villages. Christmas wreath are round, symbolizing the “everlasting sun.” Pagans put candles on trees and window sills in a bid to ask the blessings of the winter god.

In some traditions, an evergreen tree had gifts on it and was lit on fire to please their gods. The Druids tied apples to the branches of evergreens to thank their god, Oden, also hanging lighted candles on them to honor the sun god. Round Christmas ornaments represent the sun, thus the sun god.

This following video will explain that the star you put on top of your Christmas tree is actually a pentagram (Devil’s Star).

Yuletide represents the 12 days of Christmas, starting on Dec. 25 and running to Jan. 6, with the end date being the time of the birth of Aeon, the god of eternity or time, with a virgin giving birth to Aeon.

How about Santa, his reindeer and the chimney? Notice that Santa is red and white, while the psychedelic Amanita muscaria mushroom (think Alice in Wonderland, Mario Brothers and Smurfs) is also red and white. Thinking of this mushroom  as a ‘present,’ it grows under evergreen trees.

In the Scandinavian area (near the North Pole) long ago only the rich and powerful were able to consume these mushrooms. So, to solve this problem ‘Shamons’ of the community (maybe some with beards) would have a sack full of them and enter the commoners at night through the roof top smoke stack and tie them to the mantle for them to dry for consumption. Also note that reindeer love to eat these mushrooms, thus the saying that they could “fly.”

Now let’s look at some of the twelve day of Christmas:

The third day of Christmas: A day dedicated to children. Holy Innocent’s Day is associated with the children slaughtered by King Herod. One custom was for parents to beat their children on this day, believing that they would then be spared from further suffering in the year to come.

The fourth day of Christmas: The Feast of Fools was a time when ordinary people escaped from the constraints of everyday life and could behave in an abandoned manner, carrying out parodies of church services and reversing the order of hierarchy for a day. Mostly observed on or near the 29th of December.

The fifth day of Christmas on Dec 30 or Bringing in the Boar: The boar was sacred to the Celts, and was associated with gods. Parading a boar or boar’s head was associated with this day.

The sixth day of Christmas on Dec. 31st, New Year’s Eve or Hogmanay: A custom with an ancient origin to fumigate the house with the smoke of juniper, believing the herb had a magical association with gifts and good fortune.

The Seventh day of Christmas, or New Year’s Day, the Kalends of January: The ancient custom of wassailing was for the blessing of apple trees for a good harvest in the year to come, with the largest tree in an orchard receiving an offering of cider poured over its roots, and bread or cake dipped in cider would be placed in its branches. Shouting and banging metal objects around the tree was supposed to further drive out evil spirits.

“Thus says Elohim: Learn not the way of the nations, nor be dismayed at the signs of the heavens because the nations are dismayed at them, for the customs of the peoples are vanity. A tree from the forest is cut down and worked with an axe by the hands of a craftsman. They decorate it with silver and gold; they fasten it with hammer and nails so that it cannot move. Their idols are like scarecrows in a cucumber field, and they cannot speak; they have to be carried, for they cannot walk. Do not be afraid of them, for they cannot do evil, neither is it in them to do good.” Jeremiah 10: 2-5
