Obama is “Friendly” With Terrorist Ayers Shown Stepping on an American Flag

Barack Obama’s political career was launched at the home of TWO terrorists. One of the terrorists is Bill Ayers, and the other is his wife, Bernardine Dohrn. Both of them were ringleaders of the violent terrorist group of the 1960’s and 70’s called the ‘Weather Underground.’ Ayers girlfriend, Diana Oughton, was killed along with two of the group’s members while bombs they were trying to make to bomb Fort Dix Army Base in New Jersey blew up. While Ayers was on the run with Dohrn, who was charged with instigating riots at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago in 1968, they married.

Ayers, who says his only regret is not doing more to “bring the war home” to America, participated in more than an astounding 30 bombings during his 11-year reign of terror. In 1970, Ayers explained what the terrorist group the Weather Underground was all about: “Kill all the rich people. Break up their cars and apartments. Bring the revolution home, kill your parents, that’s where it’s really at.”

As for Dohrn, she went public with her celebration of the group’s maiming of Chicago prosecutor Richard Elrod in the Chicago riots. Dohrn said this about the mass murders of actress Sharon Tate and others by followers of Charles Manson: “Dig it. First they killed those pigs, then they at dinner in the same room with them, then they even shoved a fork into a victim’s stomach! Wild!” Dohrn was also signatory to the Weather Underground’s “Declaration of State of War” against the U.S. government.

In 1980, the couple turned themselves in to face the riot charges. The federal charges were dropped only because the FBI used illegal wiretaps. The only charge left was a local charge of aggravated assault against Dohrn, which she pleaded guilty to two counts, receiving a $1,500 fine and no jail time.

Even though these two terrorists stopped their reign of terror, their New York gang continued robbing banks and conducting armed holdups. And in 1981, while doing a Brinks robbery in Rockland County, a Brinks security guard and two police officers were killed. Dohrn and Ayers both refused cooperation with investigators of the crime, with Dohrn explaining she did not believe grand juries were legal, and even refusing to provide a signature for handwriting analysts for the case. She was held in contempt and imprisoned for seven months for that fiasco. And why didn’t she cooperate with authorities? The real reason was that it just so happened that she was a manager at Broadway Baby, a children’s boutique in Manhattan’s Upper West Side, that also was a money-laundering center and a ring for ID theft. The reality of her objection to help authorities in the Brinks robbery becomes clear when one considers the fact that it was ID’s stolen from customers at Broadway Baby that were used by their friends in the robbery to rent a getaway car.

One of the group’s members, Kathy Boudin, was sentenced to 20 years to life for her role in the crime.

In 1999, Ayers joined the Woods Fund of Chicago, serving as a director alongside Barack Obama until 2002, then becoming Woods’ chairman of the board, where he oversaw the distribution of about $60 million a year. And in 2002, the Woods Fund made a grant to Northwestern University Law School’s Children and Family Justice Center, where Dohrn teaches law. Ayers’ father, Thomas, served as a trustee at Northwestern University and former board chairman.

Ayers told the New York Times “we didn’t do enough.”

I acted appropriately in the context of those times,” he said in an interview with ChicagoMAG.COM in 2001.

In 1969, when they decided to “bring the war home” by staging a protest in Chicago during the trial of the “Chicago Eight” radicals who were accused of conspiring to cross state lines to incite a riot during the 1968 Democratic National Convention, several hundred members of the Weatherman smashed windows and clashed with police for four days. A total of 290 Weathermen and 63 people were injured, along with property damage totalling hundreds of thousands of dollars.

“The rhetoric was excessive because the times were excessive,” said Ayers. “The war had escalated, so naturally the language escalated. No one thought I meant that literally.”

The article, entitled, ‘No Regrets,’ shows Ayers, while still holding his current job as a professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago, stepping on an American flag to promote his book entitled, ‘Fugitive Days.’

Ayers has also lectured Marxist dictator, Hugo Chavez of Venezuela, about how to use public education as an instrument for advancing “revolution.”His stepson, Chesa Boudin, has gone to Caracas as an “adviser” to Chavez.

Teaching has always been, for me, linked to issues of social justice,” he says. “I’ve never considered it a neutral or passive profession,” Ayers said in the interview.

The Obama campaign recently said Obama was “friendly” with Ayers.

ABC News anchor George Stephanopoulos asked Obama in a debate recently, “Can you explain that relationship for the voters, and explain to Democrats why it won’t be a problem?”

Obama had replied that Ayers “is a guy who lives in my neighborhood, who’s a professor of English in Chicago, who I know and who I have not received some official endorsement from. He’s not somebody who I exchange ideas from on a regular basis. And the notion that somehow as a consequence of me knowing somebody who engaged in detestable acts 40 years ago when I was 8 years old, somehow reflects on me and my values, doesn’t make much sense, George. The fact is, is that I’m also friendly with Tom Coburn, one of the most conservative Republicans in the United States Senate, who during his campaign once said that it might be appropriate to apply the death penalty to those who carried out abortions.”

So here you have it. Obama thinks that all the terror and evil activities and horrible things said by Ayers and Dohrn are the equivalent to what a law-abiding U.S. Senator talked about trying to do LEGALLY to those who commit abortion-on-demand AFTER the procedure, in the future, were to be outlawed by the Will of the People.

But that’s Obama’s thinking. His own Web site has held at least 15 favorable mentions of Che Guevara, according to a count by blogger Henry Gomez. And when an Obama precinct captain in Houston flew a Cuban flag bearing Guevara’s likeness, Obama only said it “disappointed” him and “does not reflect (his) views,” but never publicly ordered the flag down, nor rejected Guevara’s communism.

And another Obama supporter, acting in Obama’s name, had secretly contacted Colombia’s Marxist-based FARC terror chief Raul Reyes to tell him that Obama would cut off U.S. military aid to Colombia, as well as deny Colombia free trade with the U.S.

Also, Sandinista leader Daniel Ortega, Nicaragua’s president, has endorsed Obama.

“This is not to say that there is already a revolution under way in the U.S.. . . But yes, (Obama and friends) are laying the foundations for a revolutionary change,” said Ortega.

Obama started his career as a Chicago community organizer and worked on projects there influenced by Saul Alinsky, the Marxist who advised revolutionaries in his 1971 book “Rules For Radicals” to conceal their radical affiliations to attain greater power.

The terror group Hamas has recently endorsed Obama, too.

Oh yea, BTW, Obama’s friend, mentor and ex-pastor, Jeremiah Wright, recently praised the Marxist Sandinista dictatorship of Nicaragua. Wright has also praised racist, antisemitic Louis Farrakhan, who has also endorsed Obama for POTUS.
